I'm no small woman... At 5'8", 178 pounds with a 38" waist the size 10 fits me just right. I tried an 8 before and it was just too small. Size 12 was too big. I love the quality of this skirt. It is a heavier material so I don't imagine I will be wearing it in the summer; however, on the cooler summer evenings it would be fine. I bought them in tan, brown and black. I love the charm and allure of them. They are soft and durable. Great for cos-play, western concerts, Victorian look, or everyday, and business casual for work. Don't wait too long to run to the ladies room... you have some buttons to contend with. :)I highly recommend them with a bowler hat, and parasol. Enjoy!

I had one of these skirts years ago, and through a number of moves (and I will admit, a few additional pounds added to my middle) I bought another. I am short, so I will be hemming these up to about mid-calf, but it is a good, all-purpose 'skirt' that is as comfy as jeans, but a bit dressier. I see a long life for this pair and me....wish they had the same thing in brown, and olive.

Love the split skirt but had to take it in more than 3 inches in the waist. Didn't have time to send it back for exchange. Well made, made of brushed twill so not something made of thin fabric that will wear out. Only gave it a 4 because it runs large.

They've since updated their sizing since I purchased, but I ordered a XL (my usual size) and was sent an pair of pants far too big. They're great quality and I'm a bit upset I can't wear them.

While the waist was a true size 12, the length was for a 6 foot model. There was way too much fabric in the "legs" the whole thing made me look like a mushroom. I returned it.
