Salomon mens Xa Pro 3d V8 Trail Running Shoes

With different Styles and abundant choices on today’s market, finding the right shoes can be tricky. I’ve tried different brands and styles. I now find myself coming back home to Salomon. Their comfort, quality and style are paramount in my decision making. I am an active 49 yo male whom stands a lot. I experienced foot pain and foot fatigue before. Solomon with their Ortho inserts and quality build shoes has corrected and eliminated my discomfort. I purchase a new pair every other month to keep rotating to my existing others Salomon fleet. I just love these shoes…

I've been a diehard Merrell customer for over 20 years. Recently, I decided to see what else is out there. I read many, many reviews, looking at several brands. Salomon kept coming up as one of the best outdoor/hiking shoes on the market. Finally decided to give them a try. I wish I had looked into these sooner. From the time I put them on and walked around a bit, these became my favorite daily wears. Extremely comfortable, and the fit is perfect. I love the Contagrip feature. Solid grip on gravel, in the woods, and on wet surfaces. The OrthoLite insole is fantastic. I have had 2 spinal surgeries, hip surgery (both from an accident), and neuropathy in my feet. These shoes make it comfortable and pleasant to go for walks again. I didn't know what I was missing. Salomon will be a go-to from now on. I always thought that Merrell's were the ultimate outdoor shoe. They don't compare to these Salomon's. I would recommend these to anyone.

It's an ok well built hiking shoe.Not sure why the site sometimes lists it as a trail runner, I find the salomons speedcross 6 forces in ranger green to be a better fit for me. It does come in a wide fit but the xa pro 3d V8, not a good fit for me.

This is a popular shoe where I live. I’ve had a couple pairs now and the fit is exceptional. I really like them. The color offerings are nice. The lacing system is practically flawless. The breathability is just right. Durability is a major issue. Considering the price this model sells for the shoes should last two times as long. The uppers characteristically rip in the same areas in a relatively short period of time. The soles wear incredibly fast even in almost exclusive dirt trail use. Irregardless of the price however, the shoes should last longer. I suggest using a higher quality mesh upper and a harder rubber for the sole; the heel cup, tongue, and lacing system are great as is. If Salomon were to offer both a harder rubber and a softer rubber on the sole as options, most customers would choose the harder rubber. Unless you’re rock climbing no one needs or wants a fast wearing soft-soled shoe for “gripping performance”, that’s a lame excuse for inbuilt obsolency. It’s irresponsible to the entire eco system to put out products with an unnecessarily short service life. I would purchase more of these shoes, that is until I become aware of a more righteous option.

I love these shoes and the best part is the lacing system. I’ve had many pairs and they have all lasted quite well and I have zero complaints. I’ve never had any failures in regards to the lacing system and they always stay exactly where you tighten them too. I use them as every day shoes but I also have a pair for running and a water proof GTX version and they are just such an all around good shoe. 11/10 I would 110% recommend!

I recently purchased a pair of Salomon hiking boots, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. These boots are a perfect blend of comfort and durability. The fit is snug yet comfortable, providing excellent support for long hikes. The grip on the outsole is exceptional, giving me the confidence to tackle various terrains without slipping. They're also surprisingly lightweight, making those steep ascents a breeze. Salomon's attention to detail and quality is evident in every step I take. I can confidently say that these boots have elevated my hiking experience to a whole new level, and I highly recommend them to fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

First off I love the fit of all Salomon shoes, seems right out of the box they are good to go. The speed lace system is also a huge plus! I have been using variants of Salomon 3D for over 10 years. I also have hiking boots, other shoes, and ski gear of theirs, and my wife and kids use them as well. That being said can say without a doubt the V8 version of these shoes should be an embarrassment for Salomon. In addition to poor tread life, all of the 3D shoes i have ever owned wear for me around the big toe joint area. this area eventually breaks down and the fabric opens up showing my socks. Salomon finally fixed this problem with the previous version of the shoe by putting an additional layer of fabric in that area. This was great however i should have bought several pairs. The new version no longer has this added fabric and it would seem the fabric is cheaper as well as the soles wearing faster. The shoes tore out on both sides of the toe joints and the tread was nearly gone in just 200 miles of hiking. This is really disappointing as the shoes continue to climb in price but it seems the quality is dropping? I guess it's time to look for an alternative.

Solomons are my favorite brand of shoes I’ve had many but unfortunately these are I would consider a narrow and that’s not listed in the description. I did return (my bad) but later I measured my feet and to my surprise after 69 yrs they are 1/2” longer . I did reordered correct size - excellent fit

OJO SON WIDE. Son muy buenos uso salomon desde hace años, normalente soy 7mx en salomon y me quedan bien agarre estos 7.5 wide mx por el precio quedan un poco fljos pero es lo que esperaba

Malgré la mention Women dans le titre, il s'agit de grandeur pour hommes. Donc plus grand que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Mais excellent service d'échange et de retour.
