You would think if they call it the wide opening head that it would be the widest opening head… unfortunately it’s not. The self centering head opens wider plus it has the flexibility of turning the pads around to make it wider if need be. Good product, bad and misleading name.

Terrible slop!Could otherwise be a nice vice. The screw mechanism is not machined well, screw-rod is a bitbent. Disappointed, paid for quality that is not there.Vice doesn't really work with all the slop.For the price, it should be made much better.(Rating dropped from 3 to 2 stars, due to NO quality control, and the inconvenience of poor quality.)I would not recommend this vice head, hopefully the self-centering is better, but PANAVISE should be ashamed of the - Low Quality - they are putting out. They are not cheap in price, just made cheap.

Nice vise head. Smooth operating. I bought this so I could swap out this head with a different vice head depending on the job.

It’s a panavise. Solid and works as intended. Can easily recommend.

Wide opening head is very useful for electronic projects. Have used them in the past and they are very rugged and worth the money!

I am just pleased came on time, and useing it on the other hand what can I say it is a vice ..

excelente herramienta para sujetar casi cualquier cosa yo lo uso para placas de electronica lo unico malo es que la mandan sin los pads de plástico que son 2 y cuando la venden aparecen los pads mande un mensaje para corregir eso espero lo corrijan saludos
