Wonderful guitar for beginners or experienced musicians!
I play myself and my best friend is a professional musician, both of us were floored by how well built this guitar is. Great action, no buzzing on any frets, stays in tune, et cetera. Not only would I highly recommend this as a starter guitar, I'd recommend it as a back up guitar for anyone's collection. My 9yr old loves it, she thinks this is just the coolest thing she's ever received, looking forward to teaching her to play on this quality instrument.

Nice guitar, but ...
Seems like the humbucker pickup is a very low DCR. It sounds like a single coil pickup. Otherwise, playing clean is good, but it doesn't like distortion. Playing Metal is a bit beyond what his guitar is capable of. That can be overcome by replacing the humbucker pickup. Nice guitar for the price and good as a project guitar for the amateur luthier.

Good starter guitar set
The amp crapped out after a couple of months because my son played his guitar all the time. But the replacement was sent to us as soon as we shipped the broken one back (at our expense). Nice starter set with everything needed.

The box arrived with the guitar on its neck and there were no "this side up markings" on it. This is something the shipper needs to address. All things considered it seems ok but will give it a far more thorough examination. It is a beautiful guitar and hope to get years of use out of it.
