Wonder Woman and Superman Saves The Prez!
The Incredible Shrinking Super Hero is a Superman and Wonder Woman children's book featuring two of the DC Comics's most favourite Superheroes. In this story, Superman(Clark Kent)and Wonder Woman(Diana) are honoured by the President of the United States with the medals of honour, but suddenly, Brainiac, a alien cyborg, kidnaps the President and Superman and Wonder Woman must rescue him and the White House! Altough you cannot see the president's face, but we all know who it really is, also, it was great to see Supes and WW wearing their classic costumes and not the New 52 garbage! This book is perfect for Superman and Wonder Woman fans, it is a great read!

I have it memorized
My 6 yr old daughter LOVES Wonder Woman as well as the Justice League heroes. I've been searching for stories featuring Wonder Woman that weren't overly girly and corny and this is perfect. She got it for Christmas and we have read it almost every single night since.

Supes and WW rescue President Obama
This is a fun book - a little more violent than you'd like for a picture book for small children, but as another reviewer said, much less complicated than even a kid-targeted comic (like the DC SuperFriends series). What the cover doesn't show is that this is a book about Superman and Wonder Woman saving the President of the United States and the White House (from Braniac, of course), and while he's only shown from the back--let's just say you get to try out your Obama impression reading it out loud.

Beginner Comic Books
I bought these as a gift for my 6 yr old niece. She sat down and read as soon as she opened the gift. or maybe she was just studying the pictures. The illustrations are captivating and the reading seems to be at about a 2nd grade level.

She loves it!
Go Wonder Woman! My four year old daughter is loving super heroes but I can't lets her read the regular comics yet. She loves these younger, lighter versions of the female super heroes so much! The girl get to save the day and its not about a love story.

4-year old girl loves this book
My 4-year-old daughter is obsessed with Wonder Woman and loves reading books that feature her. I like the girl power/ teamwork message in this book because Wonder Woman saves Super Man and then they work together to save the President.

not crazy good..
I rate this book as OK, not crazy good...but our daughters love it (esp. the 4yo). Can't argue with the peanut gallery.

A less than ideal representation of Wonder Woman
Personally, I did not like how much of the violence in this book was directed specifically at Wonder Woman. First, Braniac appears to point his ray gun at Wonder Woman with accompanying visual. Second, direct quote with visual: "Braniac hits her with his ray gun." Lastly, in the end battle, "Then Brainiac hurls Wonder Woman across the room, where she crashes into the ship's controls," with accompanying visual. Of course, after each of these incidents, "Wonder Woman springs back into action..." so she appears strong and resilient, but the accompanying violent images of a strong woman getting hit, slammed, and targeted by a gun are not something that I want for my young son. I realize this may be part of the genre, but in purchasing this book, I was hoping to give my son more respect for woman superheroes, and Wonder Woman specifically. Instead, I found a problem of a different sort, specifically in the images of Wonder Woman being assaulted that I find disturbing. I am perhaps in the minority, but I am returning it.
