AHA 10% Lactic Acid Exfoliating Acne Serum

I like this! I mix it with my urea 40 % gell for my feet to help with exfoliating, to keep my feet soft.

This is the best salicylic acid available. My derm recommended I use this in combo with urea cream for super smooth skin, especially on my feet to keep calluses at bay, and I am thrilled with how it works. The brand is reliable and products are High quality.

I purchased this because The Ordinary 10% lactic acid serum was out of stock. The Ordinary formula is very watery and is quickly absorbed, and that's what I prefer. This serum, however, has more slip and is more like a thin gel -- it has a thicker viscosity than I was expecting, and it leaves a subtle film on your skin as opposed to soaking in. If you're okay with the texture, then you'll like this product. Some people like more slip than others, and I just prefer the watery formulation of other brands, but this product is effective.

I bought this product as a “what can it hurt” purchase to try to clear my skin up. I’ve been on two separate six month rounds of Accutane with some results, but I still break out terribly. I have tried countless treatments and none have been effective. I figured I would give this a shot after multiple positive reviews, but I won’t lie that I was extremely skeptical. It arrived well packaged and there is no weird smell which is a plus. I cycle my evening skin care, but this tends to be my daily skin care treatment that I use under my tinted sunscreen. It goes on smoothly, there is mild burning if you have open areas or pimples, but it tends to resolve quickly. It gets slightly tacky as it dries but it does dry over all pretty quickly (less than 5 minutes). I have been using it for three months now and I love it. I wish that I had taken before and after photos. My skin is clear and this has helped improve the texture and has faded some mild dark spots. I still get breakouts around my cycle, but nowhere near as severe, as large, or as deep as they were before I started using this. Divulge products are the holy grail of skin care, and I can say with complete certainty that I will not be using anything else.

This is either extremely mild or it's water. I have very sensitive skin, it responds to everything but this stuff. I don't see or feel a difference. It's so mild that it's like I didn't use anything at all.

I've been using this product at least 3 times a week for nearly 5 months and it has made a huge difference in my skin. Acne scars, large pores, and other skin imperfections are greatly diminished. My skin has a healthy glow. I love it.Note that it doesn't have any offensive scent and it seems to quickly absorb into skin. I let a few minutes pass before putting on moisturizer as you will need to wear a moisturizer as this product doesn't seem to moisturize... but it does a lot of repair. I'm so glad I came across this product and I will re-order and use this from now on.I wish I had taken 'before' and 'after' pics so you could see the difference but I loathe taking pics of myself for public viewing, sorry.If your skin doesn't respond well to hyaluronic acid, you're not alone.. maybe you need a lactic acid product like I do. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this if you're on the fence.

: In the past month of using this product I have definitely noticed a reduction in blackheads. I was having to consider using a retinol topical product, but since this isn't safe for use in pregnancy, I was hoping to find an alternative. My esthetician recommended your Lactic Acid product and I have been very happy so far! My skin is primarily oily and pretty "tough" when it comes to harsher products. I rarely suffer visible irritation to my skin from topicals, but it also means I typically require more powerful products to see results. The lactic acid does sting a bit when applied to an open acne, but that just means it's working! I have not noticed any peeling following use. I usually don't wait the full 15 minutes between application and moisturizing as recommended - so I'm sure it would be even more effective if I followed that guidance. My only bit of "feedback" for improvement would be to reconsider the applicator - it's hard to keep the product from shooting out across my whole finger due to the stiffness of the pump. Perhaps a dropper style might allow for more control? Just a thought! However, I have been very happy with the product and plan to continue using it in my daily skin care regimen.

This product has become my go-to facial staple. I have stubborn white heads around my eyes which no matter what I did would not go away. I should also note that I have very sensitive, dry skin and most ingredients used in skin care affect my skin in a very negative way. Not this! I started slowly, using every third night or so. After a week I went to every other night, no issues! I haven't used this every night because I don't need to, and a little goes a long way. This serum is go great, I can add moisturizer after. I highly recommend this product, its a game changer.
