If you want to practice writing out kanji, this is a great notebook to do so!

Bigger than expected. Squares are also big. Material feels of good quality!

Great book for my 15 year old who is interested in learning Japanese.

The practice squares for the Japanese characters are a little on the large size. It might be necessary for some to learn the strokes but for me the grid size was squarely large, I will never naturally write that large.Book has good build quality though.

The book opens the wrong way. The book should open like a Japanese book, but instead it opens like an English book. This makes it awkward to write notes or sentences. I ended opening the book upside down and starting from there, it just looks strange with the cover upside down when you open it.

It came SOAKING

Perfect, exactly as pictured.

This book has allowed me to learn the whole hiragana and katakana just within a couple of weeks. The paper is high quality and feels smooth to write on. I use this everyday to practice.

Christmas present

It is wonderful to practice in!(I took these photos when I hadn't tried it out yet) I like the way it looks, very simple. Sadly, I think that it is too big. I, personally write quite small in general, but even for people that write rather big, I think they wouldn't write this big. It doesn't matter too much, though. I use this mainly to just learn how to use my hand when writing Japanese, to remember the strokes. Later on, I can try to make them a bit smaller.

Vorweg muss ich sagen dass ich nichts von Kanjis verstehe, es war ein Geschenk für meine Schwester, die japanisch lernt. Sie ist sehr zufrieden damit und sagt es sei zum üben ideal.
