PosterOffice Star Wars (Style C, 1977) Movie Poster 24" x 36" - Guaranteed Certified Prints with Holographic Numbering for Authenticity.

The poster is not horrible but is an obvious knock off. How internet sellers get away with inkjet printed posters that lack level of detail and color depth and pasting a generic "laser" sticker on the back is beyond me. Poster works in a pinch but a true collector will see right through this copy of a copy. It's virtually impossible to buy a genuine poster on Amazon and not get some kind crappy copy printed on an oversize printer using polypropylene or whatever that stock is. Pics of low resolution image says it all. Generic laser sticker you can buy in bulk online is not fooling anyone either. I'm sorry for people that fall for these knockoffs but also envy those that actually are thrilled with them. I can't recommend it but at the same time think a lot of people with lesser standards will be excited to have this incredible artwork on their wall.

When I was 8 years old, my aunt and uncle bought me the Star Wars double LP soundtrack for Christmas, but somehow, it did not include the fold up poster inside (I still have the album and confirmed it's a first pressing). My art class in elementary school had a copy on the wall, and I always thought it was particularly special--perhaps because of its inaccuracies (i.e. multiple Millennium Falcons). The Poster Office print is larger than the original at 18x24 inches, but it looks great and of course, has no folds. I was worried the image might be a low-res scan, but it turned out to be striking. I don't know Matt from Poster Office, but I appreciate his attention to quality. Great American seller on Amazon.
