Decent for the price
Mine is dated 1983 and arrived looking like it was made yesterday. The canteen pouch is alright for what it is, no canteen with it. This isn't a ultra high speed rig. The seating depth for usgi metal 30 Rd mags is almost flush and pmags give a bit more to grab. The pouches are tight when they arrived but after a week of leaving mags in they loosened up enough it's doable. The two back side pouches will just BARELY close on a 20rd pmag. They are perfect size for holding a baofeng radio and running a mic along the shoulder strap. The buttpouch has two Pocket, and is wide enough to lay water bottles horizontal. I am 5'10" at 180lbs and I have enough adjustment to add a few pounds. It will tighten up and sit higher than the model pic shows. The clips feel a bit flimsy but they hold the straps secure enough. As a inexpensive lightweight rig I think it'll work fine as a backup or keep in the car rig. You will have to pinch the mags and pull out if you seat the mags all the way in.

Very usable option
I bought a this rig to use in conjunction with a yugo ak and the ak mags will fit in the mag cells with a little force but are tight because this rig is designed for 556 mags as I understand it. The buckles are plastic but still seem to be very secure. Back pouch is fairly roomy with two pockets plus a very nice canteen pouch and two grenade pouches. I believe mine is dated 1980 and is in good used condition over all I’m pleased with it and it shipped very quickly .
