This unit also came in damaged due to the inferior packing of the product and the obvious way that it is thrown around. When I open the boxed the air filter unit was broken open and bent regulator twisted around and the handle was bent to where it touched the unit. I repaired all of that because I need to get some air where I was doing a project and couldn't wait again plus I believed I could fix it. I filled it with oil and fired it up. Seemed to be performed well and I started to lube some equipment I was working on, then it stopped. I would unplug my air hose and it would start again, very strange. Being a mechanic I started the process of elimination. I finally tapped on the regulator and it started again. I opened up the regulator and found that they had a safety switch inside that would shut off when the plastic case was opened. I pushed the switch and it started. What had happened was that the assembler that had put the screw in the plastic case lid on the regulator had stripped out the plastic threads in the case. I put a small machine screw in the hole with a lock washer and a nut on it and I have not had anymore problems. It's sad that such a good design has so many problems and the fact that you have to repair it when it arrives if it's not too damaged. I really like the unit.Update 04-2015 I have rarely used the unit because it continually blows breakers while plugged directly into a wall socket. You can not use an extension cord with it at all. You must use a generator if on a job site. I plugged it in yesterday to use with a new air nailer I got and all it will do now is hum and blow breakers. I have never been so disappointed with a tool seriously in my life. It is /was a royal pain. I went down to Lowes and picked up a Kobalt compressor and have been using it on the job site for a week with no problems at all. Very dependable unit. I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone that needs a piece of equipment the will actually run and do the job. All this is good for is an anchor.

This Air Compressor has a great design. It's compact and doesn't weigh too much, so it's easy to move as I work on my projects around the house. The quick-connect is easy to use, and I love that I can operate it with only one hand. The pressure gauges are easy to read too.

It did everything I expected with a more rugged construction than I expected.
