Functionality is perfect, BUT....
I am giving this 4 stars because as far as I can tell, it is the only product of its kind out there. And I searched and searched and....HOWEVER, I do have several cons.Pro's first:1. Looks like furniture and not like it belongs in a hospital.2. Sturdy once assembled.3. Functions exactly as I wanted.4. Casters lock.5. Work space is large enough for my laptop, separate usb keypad, mouse & coffee.6. Work surface tilts as well as adjusts in height.7. The stops on the work surface are concave to hold pens. (Maybe I can stop losing them constantly.)Cons:1. The assembly instructions are abysmal. Seriously, terrible. The explanations of the steps look like algebra equations. It can be challenging to figure out which way the panels go. You need to be well versed in assembling flat pack furniture (or get someone who is) to get through it.2. The workspace is wider than the cabinet part. In fairness, I knew that. You can see it in the pictures. But, I would prefer if the design was more uniform.3. The stops for the work surface are ugly - black plastic. You have to put them on, though, cause the holes are drilled.4. Only one side of the panels is finished. Again, can be seen in the pictures, so I knew. But, I don't like it. Should be maple on every visible part.5. There were some knicks and other minor finish flaws straight out of the box. Even the poles are not evenly coated.I know the unit would be more expensive if the cabinet part was wider and all the visible parts were finished. Personally, I would have paid more to have it that way. Some of my cons will be corrected when I paint it. I planned to before I bought it. Didn't like any of the colors offered & especially not the 2 different colors showing. But, thought I'd share all the details for those considering purchasing it.Ending on a positive note, I can work from my recliner when my back acts up using a one-of-its-kind piece of furniture instead of a hospital-looking table. Thus, the 4 stars.Oh, and also note, it shouldn't say wood in the title. While MDF is technically made of wood and a good strong material, simply calling it wood is misleading.

Eh...
The assembly instructions included were poor, but it was not hard to figure out. The quality of the materials is low, very low, but it is ingenious in functionality and surprisingly pleasant to look at even after considering the shoddy workmanship that went into producing this item. Even some of the screws included were unusable because of the extraordinarily substandard quality of production, which essentially made constructing the second drawer impossible with the resources included. It's an easy fix, but consider that you've paid for the product and all it's parts; if I wanted to build my own drawer I'd... build my own drawer...I'm rating this a 4/5 out of sheer respect for the utility and pleasing aesthetic of this piece after it has been assembled. It's hardy, it's useful, it's brilliant in design and in adaptability.Had this design not been so undeniably convenient, this rating would be a 1/5 with a demand for a refund.

I really want to like this, and it may be good for some ...
I really want to like this, and it may be good for some people.I've built a LOT of furniture in my life, custom designed by me, and lots of crap from IKEA.It took me (using a settable drill for torque) about 20 solid minutes to build this.Plan on double that for most people. My complaints are:- The edges of the wood (faux), and overall quality is very poor.- It scratches easily.- Metal screws are left exposed. They are large and ugly. Where I live everything rusts, so this will get very bad quickly.- Even though this is milled to exact measurements, many edges just don't line up, even after loosening and retightening, I could not force things to be perfectly square, this one is sort of insane. I took photos should anyone want proof. Some edges are off by .5cm. That's a LOT!- The screws they provide all allow for give, which is actually a bad thing in a milled design.- The design only allows for one orientation. Others complain about this. This alone should cause me to bring this down to 2 stars.- Many of the boards had no LETTER stickers on them. Again, not a big deal, but for some people that would be REALLY annoying when putting it together.- The instructions and the letter stickers don't match up. So one would think you grab Item (1) for first step. Nope, some things are out of order. Really? Come on guys, this one is just silly and just pisses people off.- The table of course pitches, which is the design, but it would have been wise to build into the design a divet so that perfectly square was easy to click into. I can also imagine this slowly falling over if you had something heavy on top and did not tighten the pins well enough.- The drawers have no guides, which means when you get past 50% the drawer start to fall out.I'm taking it back apart and sending it back. However, it has motivated me to design and build one from scratch myself. I see what they did, it would be easy for me to reproduce. And then I can build something that really lasts, and fits my needs even better.I hope some other company steps up to make something competing to this.Even after all that I still say, it may be good for you, just be clear and think about how this works and what it takes to put it together before buying it.

Pros and cons
The table is very useful and gives you so much room to have a laptop, a meal etc.Cons:There is no way to put this on the other side of the bed and they don’t sell it flipped. My husband sleeps on the opposite side so when he wants to use this table he needs to constantly turn it the other way.Drawers won’t close like they should I can only close one properly, the company did send a further explanation and we tried to fix it but it stays the same. Top drawer won’t fully ever close so it looks funny.Overall, the table is a great concept and I love what they tried to do with it. However for the very high price tag, I’d expect to be able to close the drawers properly and have it look really nice as well.

Very functional and smart looking
This laptop side table is ideal for using at my recliner. It slides very easily when the wheels are unlocked and the laptop surface swivels right over to where I need it. I bought the black table and the finish is very nice. Not too shiny and not to dull, with a wood grain finish. It fits well into my family room. There was no damage to the finish. My hubby used the website (link was in the instructions) to put it together. He is pretty handy with this type of thing, and there were no issues. Lots of storage for my magazines, laptop accessories etc. I have already recommended this to my friends. At this price point you can't go wrong.

Unique Drawer with Swivel Laptop Stand
This is the only place online where I can find a fancy looking laptop swivel stand, good for the bed. This is the second generation one, where both sides of the board are covered in maple wood. Instructions were clear. However, some number stickers associated to the boards were missing, so the only way to figure out the right board was used for the construction is to match the corresponding size from the instruction's content sheet. The Emall logo pop-up sticker on one of the wooden board was placed upside down. Also, it was missing two Eccentric screws in the box. Although I still managed to build it up with six out of eight Eccentric screws. Construction would of taken longer without any power tools. The screw driver provided was not very useful. Once, the two-ended side was inserted, it was almost impossible to switch to the flat head side. Would be nice to have an L-shaped screw driver like the one provided by Ikea to provide the extra torque. Some other minor stuff like the welding on the L-Pipe is not fully covered on the joints (only 4 sides, you can see some gap). Overall, great little furniture, but could use a few more improvements to make this a 5-star.Update:I send them an email about the missing screws and they sent me the missing items plus extra screws at no extra charge. Very satisfied with their service, that's why they deserve a 5-star. Thanks!

A lot of bang for your buck. Recommend.
I'm using this piece as a bedside table and I'm VERY pleased with it. It packs a lot of storage space and a lot of features into a relatively small package. Counting the 360° rotating "table-top", it's got 3 shelves; below that are 2 drowers; and on the far side is a magazine (or whatever) rack. The only design feature I would change would be to make the table adjustable for EITHER side of the bed. It's only fully useful on the right side. I wouldn't recommend it for the left side unless you don't mind constantly having to turn it around. It does have good-quality casters, so it's not hard to move; it just gets to be a pain before long. That aside, it's a neat little piece of furniture [it does have to be completely assembled, if that's an issue]. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. In fact I'd buy another one if I could get a "leftie". Definitely recommend it.

Decent
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that they don't seem to have a version that goes to the other side other than that... It's decent.
