Magnetic Knife Holder - Magnetic Tool Strip Kitchen Block Without Knives

Okay, this thing is nice. I bought two of them and can't believe I haven't made this change before. These particular magnetic knife holders fit perfectly on the end sides of our cabinets that flank our kitchen sink (a corner sink that opens to windows). They sit discretely in their location and aren't easily seen from the main room area, but they are super convenient when we need to grab a knife. Plus, while doing dishes, knives can easily be put in place as they are washed (and being stainless, we put them up wet and they dry without issue). One reason I got this particular knife strip is the stainless sleeve, for other knife strips with the exposed magnets can chip the blades (the strong magnets make the knives 'clunk' into place fairly strongly; if the knife is a bit out of position, hitting the rail of the exposed magnet type can nick the blade). Once in place, these have a super clean look. I did use other wood screws for the mounting (found ones that were just the length of the cabinet frame thickness, which made them just shy of coming through once the mounting place was added to the thickness). Overall, I would definitely buy again. Nice, clean, elegant looking, low-maintenance knife strips. ...bye-bye old water-faded nasty looking knife block.

It works and looks exactly as you would imagine. Mine, however, did not come with the screws that were pictured in the advertisement, For that reason only, I gave it 4 stars. Also, the magnet is not strong enough to prevent a honing rod from sliding down, so I placed the rod in such a position as to have the handle preventing further slippage.Otherwise, it is a great tool to have.

Easy to install but magnitism not as strong as my previous type, which had two strips divided by wood. It seems to have a skight convexity rather than flat, so won't hold my kitchen scissors. Will continue to search for my previous brand.

Very happy with this knife rack. I was resigned to storing my knives in a drawer and having to sharpen frequently (yes, in a proper knife rack, but I firmly believe that resting on the wood and inserting/removing them dulls them quickly) until I found this rack. When I read that reviewers noted that they were able to use the magnetic strip to hang the holder on their refrigerator, I was willing to try this rack.I am so pleased that I did. The 10 inch length is perfect for my small kitchen and the magnet holds it firmly to the side of my refrigerator but allows me to remove even my largest (8 inch chef) knife without a problem. It is smoothly finished that gives it a very upscale appearance.Outstanding product and service.

This is the perfect item if you want to mount racks on the side of your cabinets like on each side of your sink for example. I was nervous after reading several reviews for various racks that the magnets might not be strong enough to hold larger knives. After installing it, I put my largest and heaviest 10" chef knife on the rack and it holds just fine - no slipping. While there were no instructions, I don't think you really need any - separate the back plate from the magnetic rack with the plastic tabs then mount the plate using the included screws or whatever works best for your installation, and then just place the rack over the mounting plate - the rack is held to the plate by the same magnets that hold your knives. You can pull the rack away from the mounting plate, but it takes a good bit of effort - way more effort than you will ever see from just pulling a knife off of the rack. Overall this is exactly what I was looking for and seems to be great quality.

This is truly gorgeous. It would fit in even the nicest, most up to date kitchen. My only issue is that it's really too short. I have a five-knife set. I bought the colored set sold here on Amazon. They just barely fit. I have two other knives I'd like to put up but can't.

The Isabella Dora Magnetic Knife Strip is an excellent product. Not only did I mount it on my wall next to the sink for all the knives we use daily, I, also, mounted it to the refrigerator for those knives I only use once in awhile while smoking brisket, pork butt, etc...To mount to the refrigerator, just remove the back mounting plate and place the exposed magnetic back section of the magnet to the refrigerator.The magnet is strong and the knives hold firm without any scratching.Excellent product, well made, and very sturdy.I, originally, ordered 4. I liked them so much, I just ordered 2 more to add to the side of my refrigerator.

The magnetic strip is very strong and holds my chef knives as well as my kitchen shears. I did not use the metal plates as I have a metal surface flanking my range and was able to stick the knife strip directly to it without any installation. I am particularly pleased that it is a smooth surface and is easy to clean, unlike other magnetic strips that have grooves. It is shorter than some at only 10 inches so I ordered two and with two strips I can hold 3 chef knives, 3 utility knives, two paring knives and one set of shears. This product is an ideal replacement for a knife block and allows application to a metal surface with no installation!
