Vatican Imports Large Saint Benedict Medal - 2" Diameter

Works well against dark forces! Good quality too! Its says in the 1917 Catholic Encyclopedia that in the 17th century during a witchcraft trial, that the witches admitted that their spells were ineffective against a monastery, because the monastery monks painted images of the back of this medal onto the walls inside.

It's beautiful, from most every perspective I find this an excellent addition to my collection. Between its historic relevance and its artistic value it's really quite a nice piece and extremely affordable. I display it and a small case ( golf ball case) and it adds nicely to the appearance of the room. There is of course also the symbolic meaning of the symbol and I by no means want to detract from its religious relevance.

This is a very good quality medal, and the gold is a nice gold color. Actual dimensions are 1 7/8" diameter medal with about 5/16" extension at top forming the hole and a 7/16" bail through the hole. Total height including hole without ring is 2 3/16".And yes, with the accompanying prayers, they do work.

Like the symbolism but it was very big. Too big to do anything with.

Everyone should have one of these in their home!
