Strong!
good quality. For what I need, was a little too strong, so I also ordered the 30lb. These are 50lb strength. But well made

Strong magnet catch for keeping a drawer good and shut
Needed a solution from keeping my dog out of the trash bin. Two of these did the trick. Strong, adjustable, easy to install. Drill pilot holes with a 3/32 drill bit.

Good cabinet magnets. Installation was not simple
Using these magnets to keep a beagle from accessing the trash can. At 13 years old, my beagle has learned to open the under sink cabinet doors to wreak havoc with the trash can. I wanted to prevent that but didn't want a complicated latch that would get dirty when I am preparing meals. These latches work perfectly. A firm tug on the cabinet doors is all it takes to open them. The magnetic latches were kind of difficult to install. The provided screws are Phillips head and easy to strip. I substituted my own screws. The provided screws also are not magnetic, so if the metal plate isn't exactly lined up with the magnets then the magnetic latch is much weaker. The screws I used were magnetic. I highly recommend pre drilling the screw holes or you will most likely strip the supplied screws.

Good strong hold.
I installed these magnetic closures on the cabinets in my horse trailer to keep doors from opening while traveling. I wanted extra strong ones since some of items in cabinets are heavy. So far they are working perfectly. I need to use both hands (40 lb. pull) to get them open so I don’t expect anything to fall out.

Easy installation
Nice latches for the door. I recommend the 50 lbs as a minimum for closet doors--anything less and I don't think the latches would stick adequately. Ensure that the magnet portion is at least flush with wood above it to improve the sticking quality.

Not 40 lbs.
There's absolutely no way these are a 40 lb pull. I put them on my cabinet doors in a camper and they hold slightly better than the old spring clamp holders which I wanted to get rid of. I think using both the old catch an the magnet they may combine to 15 to 20 lbs.

Value & works as needed
Upgraded to previous installed door catches with these. They are not as strong as rare earth magnets ones I have on 8’ doors. However, considering the price for 10 was the price of 1 of those it was well worth they money and they do hold well.

Door stays closed, but not hard to open
Used this on a door, works well. My 3 year old can open (which was the goal) but door stays closed so pet rabbits remain in room. I only needed to use one magnet set at top.
