The "Go To" paint for sneakers!
I recently had the pleasure of using Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint in Black, and I must say it exceeded my expectations on every level. As someone who enjoys leather crafting and restoration projects, finding a reliable and high-quality paint is crucial, and Angelus truly delivers.First and foremost, the color saturation is exceptional. The black hue is deep, rich, and consistent, providing a professional and polished finish to my leather items. Whether I was touching up scuffs on my favorite leather boots or giving new life to an old handbag, the Angelus paint ensured a flawless, true black result. The versatility of this paint is truly commendable. It adheres well to various leather surfaces, allowing for a broad range of applications. I appreciated its ability to cover both smooth and textured leather without compromising the final appearance. The paint also dries relatively quickly, making the process efficient and hassle-free.Durability is a standout feature of Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint. Once applied and allowed to properly set, the paint forms a resilient and flexible coat that stands up well to everyday use. I've noticed minimal cracking or peeling, even on frequently worn items, attesting to the longevity of this product. The ease of application is another highlight. The paint has a smooth consistency that makes it easy to work with, whether you're brushing, sponging, or airbrushing. Cleanup is a breeze, and the paint is water-based, which is not only convenient but also environmentally friendly. One thing to note is that adequate surface preparation is key for optimal results. Ensuring the leather is clean and free of oils or waxes enhances the paint's adhesion and longevity. In conclusion, Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint in Black has become a staple in my leather crafting arsenal. Its superior color quality, versatility, durability, and user-friendly application make it a top choice for both beginners and seasoned leather enthusiasts. If you're looking to breathe new life into your leather goods with a reliable and vibrant black color, Angelus is the way to go.

Impressive
Had a bad mark on the arm of my lazy boy that looked terrible. I thought the recliner was leather, turns out it is fake leather. I tried this paint and it turned out soooo beautiful. Unbelievable. So easy to use too. Just paint it on, let it dry, then rub the finisher on. That's it. It will make an old nasty couch/chair new again.

The color was an exact match for the item I used it on.
This is my second bottle of paint from this company. I used one on a Kate Spade purse and the match and easy application were perfect! The next was used on an expensive vegan leather backpack.Again, superior results! Highly recommend this company.

98% satisfied. Very good quality. Quick 1 hour drying. Sticks well. A bit to expensive IMHO.
MAIN REVIEWI ordered 2 of these in flat black (which is matte black) to touch up some of my HWK leather brando jacket. This is a bit more flat than the original HWK finish but people will not know immediatelly at first glance. Only at closer look one sees a difference in shine on the touched up spots.Otherwise this is supposed to be the best brand leather paint and it sticks till date very well. I tested it now for about a week and it holds strong. I painted a spot on my aluminum flashlight and after a few days it starts now to peel off. But I am impressed since it still stuck to the aluminum.I did not pre prepare the leather jacked to paint/touch up. Without preparation at all, even without cleaning it stuck immediatelly without any problems. After about 1 hour it is dry enough and you can use it. It says however not to bend the paint, meaning not to use it, before 48 hours. So this is flatter or duller than the colour you see on the black HWK leather jackets. These jackets however "lose" their finish on high rubbing spots and need to be touched up. Just paint it over and let it dry. It paints over the existing finish as well without any problems. To me the price is a bit high. I hope this paint does not dry up over time. This is supposedly the best brand leather paint you can get for any leather work on the market. This paint does not crack and it is kind of an thick layer. For these particular leather jackets I have maybe the regular black would match as well. But rather to have more shiny spots more dull spots are maybe the best option to match the original colour. It adjusts good to the contour of the leather applied on. To me an 32 oz bottle should cost this price of this 4 oz bottle of 18 US$.Flat black is most likely the best alternative for an black colour since it gives allmost no shine and is pretty flat but still there is a little light reflection (shine). This flat black will give your leather an genuine leather appearance while the standard black will give the leather an artificial black chinese made shiny appearance.I recommend for touching up your valuable leather jacket but for use en masse on leather work this paint is to expensive since you use lots of paint per covered aerea. For the price this has you will use it only on high value objects like leather jackets, leather mantles (trench coats), expensive shoes, etc. and not ordinary objects.

Brilliant product
I honestly did not know paint like this existed until recently. I was debating if I wanted to sink the cost of buying a whole new couch cuz the brown wasn't going to fit my room's makeover but my mind was blown when I found out I could just... Paint it a new color. It goes on very easily with a foam roller, and the roller is reusable between coats as the paint stays soft and slightly elastic when dried. Does take a couple of coats to completely cover the original faux leather. So far it's held up to being sat in, slept on, cats being on it, my 60lb mutt with all the grace of a drunk buffalo jumping on and off it. Literally my only complaint (that I won't take a star off for at all cuz this paint is amazing) is the bottles are TINY and kind of expensive 😅 my couch was large so it took several bottles to cover it all, 2-3 bottles per section, even being lazy and leaving some spots that are against the wall so not seen. Would be great if there were more bottle size options for larger projects purely for convenience cuz 4oz is comically tiny. Price is worth it for the quality, though.

Great for painting leather shoes
Came enclosed and the paint was in perfect shape. Was not dried out and the lid came with a brush on the inside. Just FYI the paint does dry out with a shine and not matte for anyone that does not know.

works perfectly to repair scuffed gucci loafers
I could not believe how easy this was to use. I used a eyeshadow make up brush and painted it onto my designer gucci loafers. They look new now. The color was a perfect match.
