I was very pleased with the side eye glass safety shields. Not knowing what to expect, the soft plastic was clear and didn’t impair vision. They fit and slide over the temples and secure easily on the outside edge of the frames. The open gap on the sides is blocked by the shields protecting the eyes from objects hitting an eye. These kind of suck to be honest. They don’t fit any glasses I own very well. I could see them being beneficial only if you were doing a walk through at a plant where side shields were required. I think I’ll keep wearing my good looking safety glasses that fit over my prescription glasses that do not make me look like a clown.

Given the increasing data to support eye covering as a routine risk reducer re: COVID-19, this adds a bit more protection to just eyeglasses. However, while these "side-protectors" probably work very well for large stuff (e.g., sawdust and flying larger particles), there's quite a gap between these protectors and the sides of your face.They are easy to apply and remove.

2 different types or sizes came in the package. One set fit my current glasses well. The other I will save for other styles of glasses. Happy so far.
