Great shell replacement, love the super famicom colors on the buttons. Easy installation, took maybe 15 mins following a youtube tutorial. Buttons all feel great, everything fits well.Paid $40 bucks and it was worth every last penny for me. Highly recommended if you like the nostalgic look like myself.

This is the first controller I've ever opened up completely and it was super cool to see the inside. Also attached in the pictures is the easter egg from Nintendo "THX2ALLGAMEFANS!" Followed a video tutorial and I am very satisfied with my new controller look. The buttons feel nice and I absolutely love the color! I may end up changing the buttons back to the original ones, but for now I'll keep it. The shell itself feels similar to the original (i.e. same matte feel), the buttons are glossy compared to the matte black buttons, which gives it an interesting feel. Overall would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a neat, easy DIY replacement shell mod for their pro controller! My advice before you buy a precision screwdriver set is to make sure it is thin enough to fit in very small spaces. I hit a bit of trouble when taking out the battery and my screwdriver wouldn't fit behind the battery, so I had to buy another set.

This thing always gets a lot of compliments whenever I take it to Smash tournaments so if you're looking for something to stand out with, look no further! The material does feel a bit different than a regular shell, but I'm not complaining as long as my sticks are fine (which the product obviously doesn't mess with) .Some things to note are the following:-The Pro Controller (like any other controller) is notoriously prone to collecting Gamer Gunk™ between the cracks. This isn't a problem with the product itself, but it's way more noticeable on a white shell like this so just clean it from time to time if it bothers you as much as me.-The colorful face buttons have a glossy finish unlike the matte finish the regular buttons have so I guess it's possible for you thumb to slip off of them. I've had no issues so far, but I also don't have sweaty hands so I just thought it'd be worth mentioning.-I think the Super Famicom appearance is cool, but I wish it just went the extra mile to include the circular design around the face buttons like the one on the SNES Classic shell. I don't understand why it's absent on this shell, but I personally feel like that small detail would really make the whole thing feel complete.Overall very nice quality product! Lots of my observations are more nitpicks than anything, so definitely pick this up if you're looking for some epic swag 😎

I get really tired of the lack of color in first party Nintendo controllers, at least other than the joy cons, so I brought this and used this on my own pro controller, it's not too difficult as long as you have steady hands and the right screwdriver, a Phillips head to be precise. The faceplate feels alright, looks cool, and another thing is they send you a set of replacement ABXY buttons that can fit the default or the replacement shell, I almost want to compare the buttons to arcade buttons in how they feel, the kit does not include any extra screws and expects you to jusy use the ones already in the controller so you shouldn't have any left over afterwards, I'd recommend watching the tutorial they have a link to on the box, or any tutorial that you can find on doing this, it's not an overly long process, but it's worth it.

Plastic is of great quality and the matte finish is almost indistinguishable from the official shells. The coloured buttons are unfortunately rather hideous pastel shades unlike the richer and less bright colours of the SNES/Famicom. I didn’t end up using them but the shell looks better with the original black buttons anyway. If the buttons matter to you then maybe consider my score a 4/5.I guess my biggest complaint is that this manufacturer doesn’t make Joycon shells with the same plastic and finish, which isn’t really a complaint about this product at all!
