Serious design flaw that makes this VR cardboard fall apart after use
First let me state the positive. The lenses on the I Am Cardboard VR are nice. However, I have a significant problem with their design. The hinged flap for the eye shades is constructed with perforations. It took less than a week of gentle use for the perforation to completed break. My cardboard is now held together with tape. I have an older cardboard version from another maker that uses a crease instead of a perforation and that has lasted a year without any signs of tearing. Thus, I can't recommend this cardboard as there is no way that these could survive any degree of usage without falling apart.

Low quality, not practical for the everyday person
In all honesty, it's not that good. I would suggest buying a plastic vr headset that has better quality, it's only cardboard so you shouldn't expect it to last ages. Was delivered oddly, had to mess with the "button" on the inside in order to use it. Nice for a while, until you realize it's not that practical. If you will be honest with yourself you should know that this isn't going to be used often. Personal use is a no buy, but educational use in classrooms seems practical, ie you want to show the class a place in France you can pass this around and have them take a look

Worth what I paid for it
It works most of the time, although there are periods when I have to spend an hour fussing with this thing in order to get the touch-button to work. Even when the conductive pad is very-well-pressed against the screen, sometimes the button on the unit doesn't work. I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to it.Got this for some entertainment after Thanksgiving dinner and it was great. My baby-boomer parents were amazed by this incredible new technology.Anyone who hasn't tried VR yet should get one of these. It's worth it.

High quality components, easy to assemble
Bought these for a project to show of VR, and they did the trick. High quality components that can be reused after the cardboard fails. Note that you might need to take off phone cases or extended batteries to get them to fit properly, but worked well with a variety of phones.

VR fun without the high cost and technical know-how
I really wanted to have a VR viewer but did not like the ones that wrapped themselves around my head for I felt clumsy and disoriented. Google has the solution for me with this viewer. Aldo they have an app where I can take photos that are as near to VR as I have seen, so fun!!!!

Experience VR without spending too much
Definitely worth a go to experience VR. Worked fine with an iPhone 6 and a Galaxy S6.

Simpatico gadget
Avevo ordinato il colore rosso e mi è arrivato color cartone, cominciamo male. Non è presente l'adesivo frontale per proteggere il Cardboard dal sudore. Il pacco è arrivato un giorno prima, ma a Grimbergen si è fermato 3/4 giorni. Attesa un po' lunga per un pezzo di cartone del colore sbagliato. Per funzionare funziona, ma i materiali poveri e il cartone stesso fà male attaccato al viso già dal primo minuto di utilizzo. Qualche applicazione è simpatica, ma piuttosto "giocattolosa", pur avendo una risoluzione full hd i pixel si vedono tanto. Molto acerba ancora questa realtà aumentata, avrei voluto che alle soglie del 2017 ci fosse già una maggiore attenzione e diffusione della realtà virtuale. Ancora troppo presto, purtroppo, i visori "seri" hanno prezzi proibitivi. Questo Cardboard è un assaggio che lascia l'amaro in bocca.
