Easter Ideals 2012 (Ideals Easter)

Readers of Ideals issues know that they are all spectacular anthologies of colored pictures, poems, essays, readings, and in this case, even recipes and a song. This one obviously has a spring and Easter theme. It can be enjoyed by careful reading or by simply thumbing through and looking at the pictures. My favorite of the poems is "When" by Dorothy Aldis which describes the moment in February when you first start thinking of spring. Some of the pictures that I particularly like show daffodils under a weeping cherry tree, forsythias by a white birch, and a cat sitting on a brick wall surrounded by branches of a flowering tree. If you like thinking about spring, you can enjoy this at any time of year.

oHow excitded I was to find the 2011 and 2012 issues of Easter Ideals on Amazon! Years ago, and I do mean YEARS ago (I celebrated my 80th birthday a few days ago), Ideals was published several times a year, always at special, seasonal occasions. I bought every issue, and kept them for a long time, but over the years they went by the wayside, and I thought that they were out of publication now. The books were always beautifully done, with magnificent pictures and appropriate stories, essays and poems. My favorite each year was the Christmas issue. I used Ideals frequently when I needed to do a devotional for some meeting, and read them for my own pleasure and inspiration.Now, after many years without a favorite publication, I am so pleased to have it again. I love ideals magazine as it is filled with assorted articles, stories and recipes, etc. The articles are seasonal, so you can get them throughout the year. When I am finished reading, I recycle it among my family and friends. Those who love it will get one for their birthday and Christmas present. It is so easy to purchase because you just have to order it on Amazon. Amazon will gift wrap it for you, and deliver in a couple to days to anywhere in the USA..

I love Ideals! The quality, the reading and the photo's are wonderful. I wish they still published them monthly and the special vacation, Mother's day and other special times of the year. I miss them. First rate, great for family!

I loved this book! Such beautiful photos and Easter stories and poems. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet, but I may try the carrot cake cheesecake bars.
