Perfect first drone and great value!
This is my first drone and it’s got me hooked! The directions that were provided with my purchase were barely readable/understandable and did not provide enough information to fully understand how to manage the operations. So, I had to do some research and some trial by fire to get the hang of it.If you want to control the drone by the RF controller but still have the simultaneous video feed on your phone using the drone Wi-Fi, here are the sequence of steps you will have to follow:1) Power on the drone. You will see flashing lights from the front (white) and the back (red) when powered up.2) Power on the controller and move the left control toggle up and then down to connect your controller to the drone.3) Using the Wi-Fi on your phone, connect it to the drone’s Wi-Fi network.4) Open the drone HFun app (obviously, you would have already had to download the HFun app on your phone) and hit Start on the screen5) Note: You will be able to see the drone video feed on your phone but controlling the drone will only be possible on the controller in this mode.6) Take control of your drone using the controller. The drone is a great first timer/entry drone! It’s small and fast with a ton of high-end features you normally would pay a lot more to get (follow, hover, 1080p, way points, etc.). The best time to fly this drone is when the wind is below 5mph. Gusts and wind over 5mph make it very difficult to control! The propeller guards, blades that are not fixed and collapsible arms will save your blades during crashes.Controlling the drone from the app on your phone is very difficult, so I use the mode I described above. The camera gimble is only adjustable manually, which means you will need to set the gimble angle before you take off. When removing the blade guards for storing, be careful as you could break them.Having an extra battery is terrific so you can fly much longer while you’re getting the hang of this little beauty. I’ve enjoyed mine so much that I bought a second one and gave it to my son. This drone does not require registering it with the FCC in the US as it’s below the weight limit. But, adding a label with your phone number is a good idea if you lose it in someone’s yard. This drone (Falcon 1808) can be purchased under many different brands, prices, options, colors, and delivery times. Some other sources provide feature options like upgrading to a 4K camera, adding a third battery, and available in white. Mine is the two battery, 1080p version and is awesome for learning drone skills.

Let’s take the drone for a ride
A great adult beginners drone. We found it super easy to set up and operate. It has one key take off and landing making it simple to remember controls. The 1080p HD camera is amazing and so clear. WiFi too along with so much other stuff. So much fun.

Fun, and a decent value, but claims about the high res camera are misleading
The media could not be loaded. This is a fun little thing. It's weight falls into the category where a license is not needed in most countries. I measured the takeoff weight at around 150g.It was easy to download the app and connect my phone for recording. The camera is pretty good for such a low price. It can't compete with the more expensive drones' cameras, but I felt I got plenty for what I paid. Attached is a video I took with it. Most of the video jerk is due to the drone correcting itself with its flow sensor. So unless you're in very still air, expect jerky video.I found the bottom flow sensor did its job (basically), but in a slight breeze, it would move about +/- 2 meters, or +/- 4 meters when the drone is flight at 5m height above ground. So leave a lot of open area for the flow sensor to correct.Use the auto-takeoff and land features. Especially auto land. If you land manually just holding the stick down for 3 seconds, sometimes the motors don't turn off even when its on the ground, turning the quad-copter into a very poor weed whacker. The auto-land feature is smart enough to kill the motors the moment it touches down. The downsides are:1) The documentation is a very poor translation, and extremely vague. Read through it, and then most of the important information you can find here in Q&A, and reviews.2) The remote control is a coarse thing. It has buttons that are disguised as joysticks. If you try small, subtle movements of the joy stick, nothing happens. Once you move the joystick past a certain point, movement suddenly and decisively kicks in, as if you were just pressing a button.Overall, it's a good drone with which to learn the spatial awareness and other good piloting practices before you invest a bunch in a more expensive drone, or a fun toy for kids.UPDATE: I've downgraded my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars for one reason: The actual resolution of the camera appears to be about 30% of what they claim. I feel they aren't being forthcoming about their camera, and I very much dislike being lied to. They claim a 1920x1080 picture and movie resolution. Unfortunately I think they're just taking a 600 pixel camera and just upscaling (poorly) the picture to 1920. You can judge for yourself from the uploaded picture. It's 1920 pixels wide, but it doesn't look sharp to me until you reduce it to about 600 pixels. This isn't motion blur. I took a few pictures with the camera when the drone was perfectly still siting on a stable surface with the same results.

Nice drone
This drone is surprising very easy to setup and out the box very fun. There are tremendous amount of options to choose from when buying an out of the box system like this and I’ll try to comment on the main attractions. The battery life has been pretty good so far. With only about 10 charges under my belt, the average flight time is closer to 15 minutes but I really like taking lots of pictures. Taking off and landing has gone off without a hitch. Picture quality is pretty good and the real time FPV feature adds more to experience. Overall, I am satisfied with the features to cost ratio.

A fun & full of features little drone!
Was easy to learn to fly in my living room. Tough little sucker! I've crashed it at least a dozen times (with the blade guards on) in & out doors with no breaks. I was way too impatient to wait for calm & warm weather. But, really surprised how easy, and fun it is to fly this thing with the supplied controller & my phone.Learned very quick how just the slightest breeze can wreak havoc on this little bird. It weighs nothing, so very difficult flying outdoors. So glad it came with two batteries. Picture & videos nice for the price.
