I received my SC200 today and it was up and running in a few minutes. It's easy to use and will surely help you out during practice sessions. I just want to point out that the extra battery cell is not compatible with the unit, which I misunderstood when ordering. Also, there is 1 set of AAA batteries in the box. I'm not sure why they say you get an "extra set". I will most likely get a set of rechargeable ones because I plan on using this item a lot. Overall, with the case I felt that this was still a very good deal.

I teach. Use it often. Wish battery life were a tad better. But overall it gives me pretty good info. Wish it had spin rate, which might have me getting another. But otherwise it's fine.

I received it took it out of the box put in batteries in and went to the driving range works exactly as advertised gave accurate distances. It gave me great confidence in every club in my bag. I would highly recommend the sc200plus to anyone who wants to know swing speed and distance for every club in the bag. This is the Best Buy I have ever made.

This is a decent product, but not worth the cost considering it has been upgraded already. If you can find one used, then the cost might be justified. Sometimes accurate, but sometimes not, which means it’s...not. For example, my wife took a swing and missed completely, and the readout was 58 yards! Another example: I’m a 16 handicap who is ecstatic when my drives go 250...on a hard downhill hole. I took this to the range once and was miraculously driving the ball 315 yards! And that was the CARRY distance!!! I still use it, if anything bc it gives a swing speed readout, and the setup is nonexistent, but mostly I use it so I can justify the money that I paid for it. Get this if you have money burning a hole in your pocket. Otherwise, keep searching or wait for someone to buy you a launch monitor as a gift.

I've had the Swing Caddie plus on the driving range twice, so far. It's fun and super easy to set up—turn it on, select the mode (I've only used Practice Mode, so far), select the club you want to swing (driver, 7 iron etc), extend the arm from the rear of the machine, and set it at the level of your ball about 4 to 5 feet away. I can't swear to the accuracy, since I have no way to check it. One caveat: the ball has to be hit reasonably well to get an accurate reading. For example, I hit a couple of worm burners that went thirty yards but the Swing Caddie read out 150 yards.

This is a sub $500 launch monitor, so proper expectations are needed. But within 15 minutes I had it open, adjusted my club lofts, and was hitting into my practice net. The included case is nice. Unsure why it has a powerpack as it runs off Triple AAA and not USB power.Other sites have said it should be accurate within 2-3%. I'd believe that. It won't be perfect and it probably misjudges some stuff since it doesn't account for curvature or other factors, but if you want some form of reliable feedback for backyard practice, this is a good option without going up in price significantly.

this is a toy. it just doesnt give accurate readings. i am 2 handicap and this unit has no chance of calibrating your clubs. on even short irons it was giving variations of 10-20 yards. tried everything from harder surfaces, placement of unit etc. it would be fun gadget if it was in game room.

AAA batteries not included in the box and the charger does not connect to the Swing Caddie so WTH are they including something that does not work with the device. Just beware - it all looks good until you open the package.
