Used it for my child since birth (together with a nappy cream every change) and had no problems to the bum skin. I think a good nappy change routine is a key factor to avoid nappy rash. To be fair, since my child doesn't poo during the night, we don't do nappy change probably around 10hrs but skin still fine with this nappy along with a nappy cream. I gave 4 stars for the leak proof as I have experienced two blowouts that leaked even though I just changed the nappy a few minutes before it happened. Overall, it has a good leak proof function.
