Photek Sunbuster PLUS 84" Convertible Umbrella System

I've used this umbrella before from a rental house and decided to purchase my own. You can buy it with or without the conversion kit. For an extra $80 you get a cover that turns it silver or black and some additional parts. Mine arrived without the black/silver cover, without the t-bar or any instructions on how to assemble the clamp (which came in pieces) or warranty information. The carry bag also had a hole in it! When I tested the umbrella, the tilt mechanism on the umbrella immediately jammed and it took two of us to get it back upright. At first we thought I'd tilted it the wrong direction, but it jams no matter which way you move it and you need four hands to set is straight. The only other review I read of this product, on Adorama's website, also described the same missing parts. When I called Adorama they immediately tried to blame me. I'd guess they've shipped this thing a few times judging by the amount of tape I found on the box. I'm disappointed in Adorama and will probably not buy from them again. I do like this umbrella, though, it's a nice product when it works.
