Ahead Drum Throne (SPGBBR4)

Bought this for my teenage son for his drum kit. He started high school, and started practicing more. He also grew. A lot. He is a big guy now, and the tiny little round throne was not working very well, and was uncomfortable. He LOVES this throne. He says it feels sturdy and solid, and never feels like it is going to tip over like the old one. Its very comfortable, and he is happy to keep practicing. The seat cushion is very deep but firm, and it does not feel flimsy or like it will break if you shift around too much. The curve of the seat cushion keeps his legs from going numb and the back provides support. Its pricy, but it works very well, and he is really happy.

Getting older isn't fun, and I've developed some tailbone pain when I sit too long. Practicing drums was beginning to hurt on my old trusty Roc N Soc throne through no fault of the old throne. Doing some research I found this throne and decided to dive in. Sweet relief! No more tailbone pain after a long session, and I feel more stable and secure than I did before. The price is in line with other premium thrones, definitely worth the investment in comfort. I opted for the 4 leg throne and it's been more stable than the 3 leg throne I had before. No problems with uneven floors making the throne wobble.

Comfortable. I am still adjusting the height, etc. Very sturdy.

This thing doesn’t hurt my tail bone after hours of playing. The problem I had was with the back rest. I couldn’t get it to stop sliding out so I put a self tapping screw in it to hold it in place. Now it’s not a problem except I can’t adjust it. I really didn’t like having to drill a screw into this chair but I didn’t know what else to do.

I previously had a circular drum throne and had a lot of back pain. Once I purchased this throne, my back pain went away. The back rest is great for when I’m not actively playing the drums.

I have recently been battling low back aches because I drive all day, this has the right support where I need it and gets me through the entire night!!!
