A fantastic book for travelers. I was a little hesitant to purchase it, but I am so glad I did. Even though I now have a couple of years of solo travel under my belt, I still gained so much knowledge from reading this. It’s chock full of practical tips and useful information. Plus, it’s a very fun and easy read. Marek has a very authentic and humorous voice.I am so glad I purchased it before an upcoming long trip so I can put all his info and resources to good use! He also answered some questions I had like how to balance spontaneity with planning. I highly recommend this book. You’ll gain so much from it!

This is the seventh book about travel I have read this calendar year and has been one of my top favorites. I liked the fact he added a lot of website recommendations. I wish this was the first book I read of all of them because I would have found out so much more information but some was repeated from other books. The “key points” section at the end of each chapter was a nice summary. I took many notes from this book. I wish I had the ability to travel like he did, maybe I can find a job teaching English somewhere (I’m currently a science teacher). Definitely worth reading if you love to travel

I loved this book and his perspective. I'm in the USA so it was refreshing to read another's view on travel. Very personable but functional. His resources for you to refer to are worth the price of the book alone. I've been reading quite a few travel books to go long term abroad. This is one the best I've read so far.

Great book has lots of ideas how to travel smarter, easier, and with less expense. Just what I was looking for.

My partner and I are planning our first big trip together and since it's our first big trip together, the planning process can get very overwhelming. But I am so glad that he got this book. It's written with a sense of humor and a wealth of information in an organized and easy to read way-whether you want to skip to relevant sections or read from cover to cover. There is just so much information online and it can be easy to get lost in a whirlpool of blogs and guides. But this book has everything you need to know and makes planning for a trip seem much more doable. Thank you, Marek Bron! I really enjoyed this book! Tons of great information, useful tips, and experienced insight. The chapters are well laid out and the author's writing style is comfortable and engaging. I'm planning a long RTW trip and this book gave me a good head-start with my preparation. If you are contemplating a long trip, I encourage you to invest in this book.

If your going on a backpacking trip or just taking a trip in general, get this book! This is one of the best travel books I’ve read. It is so informative and has so many great tips that you can actually apply. Not just little “tips and tricks” you find online that mostly likely you already knew about. I thought I knew it all before I read this book but it’s helped me so much in my journey. Don’t think about it just get it!!

if you even slightly consider traveling around the globe, this resource offers practical advice that you give you serious insight for what is to come. Offers different perspectives of traveling with people, solo, finances, how to work your way through the globe by visiting "easy" countries first then working way up to more countries that require more deliberate planning and awareness. It also provided resources I have never heard of to make your traveling adventures happen. A few resources are no longer available as this book is a few years old, but still has valuable advice. I have and will refer to this book often! Cheers!
