i received my purchase quicker than expected. my purchase was for a tile cutter that i have used for many years and was very pleased to find that it was the same great quality tool that i have come to know. thanks for instilling confidence in my online purchases.

my first time with a REAL tile cracker and man this is a game changer. so simple and efficient and effortless cuts.

This can be used for large tile. But it has real trouble cutting hard porcelain. The 2 slide rods flex to much when you push down to snap the tile. This causes you to constantly add pressure until you break the tile. But when the tile gives you end up getting a jagged break because you pushed too hard. I returned it and bought another brand for twice the price but it works great. But if your doing standard ceramic this should work fine.

This is an excellent tool for the price. The support arms are a bit out of alignment but that does not effect the function. I would give it 5 stars if it had a trigger that rotated the breaking pad into place only when you are ready to break the tile. If it had that little upgrade, it would rival much costlier tile cutters. Alas, with this unit, you have to developed a little skill to drag the pad out of the way when scoring or move it with your hand. With a little practice, I am able to snap 24" long strips 5/8" wide. That is way better than the manufacturers claim. 1/2" strips were achievable but a little hit and miss. Overall a great tool for the novice to semi-pro. My professional tiler really liked it over his tile cutter. Another plus is the table is spring loaded and cushioned rather than just cushioned.
