HORI Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wheels (Mario and Luigi Versions) Officially Licensed By Nintendo

Luigi, as most people know, I'd my favorite video game character, so that is why I decided to buy this one instead of Mario.

The Nintendo Switch steering wheels are fun for the kids, I went ahead and purchased both Mario and Luigi wheels to display in our Nintendo Case when not in use… good material and construction.

Much sturdier than the cheaper set. A little bit to big for smaller kids.

If you really want the wheel racing feel, get the proper one with pedals; this one is kind of small, teens and adults may feel too tiny; but for small kid they will get confuse how to use it to turn, at least for my son, got him the Mario wheel and the result is much better

I'm not sure if its the reported drifting issues with joy cons or my lack of skill, but I am not great at Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With the use of this Hori wheel accessory by skills have improved to at least passable. For the price my pride and ego can stand losses now.Sarcasm aside, the color and feel or the item is lightweight but durable. I still have the Wii version and it still looks new to this day. I am confident that this one will last just as long. It is useful to have the option of using this accessory or not by how easy it is to remove the joy con from it too.

I bought the red, Mario "HORI" Steering Wheel from a local Meijer, and absolutely LOVED the look and feel. Bought this green, Luigi for my daughter and it functions exactly as expected with the same rubber grips on green plastic.Now I need the Bowser, Peach, Rosaline, and Koopa Troopa variants...

Mixed feelings on this - in some ways it’s better than the Nintendo wheels...and in other ways not. Overall it doesn’t seem to be much of an upgrade...especially when you can get two Nintendo wheels for less than the price of this one.Pros - larger (but not by much) than the Nintendo switch wheels. Feels well made and the rubber grips are good.Cons - shoulder buttons are flat rather than curved - so don’t feel as natural as the Nintendo ones. The positioning of the Joycon means that in order to reach the buttons you can’t quite hold the wheel where you’d like. Still much smaller than the old wii wheels.

I was so excited to get this. I’ve always had a wheel on all my consoles and I love Mario so I brought both the Mario and Luigi wheels. They fit perfectly and definitely good quality but none of us can drive well with them which is nothing to do with the wheels and more to do with the controllers (and us) The kids got the hump after the first race and took them off. I put them on but still use the buttons to drive as you would without the wheel on

Idéal pour des enfants qui commencent à jouer à Mario Kart.Ca apporte un côté ludique en plus.Le volant n'est pas trop grand; le joycon s'insère et se retire sans souci.On ajoute les aides à la conduite et tout le monde peut jouer.Par contre ... rien ne remplace le joypadMon avis vous a aidé ?Prenez une seconde pour voter OUI, cela m'encouragera à en écrire à nouveau. I have similar wheels for the Wii/Wii U and much prefer playing using them, these are very small compared to the earlier models but that's unavoidable given the size of Joy-Con controllers. Overall they are still a great way to play Mario Kart and other racing games and the quality is excellent as always, I also bought the Mario version so me and my wife can use one each!

After playing with the old steering wheels on the wii I purchased these for the switch.Way too small,like half the size of the old wheels.Build quality is terrible and basically useless.Dont waste your time and money.Must be better wheels out there
