Sodium Metasilicate 2.5 Lb Pack (9787)

A former chemist for a chemical distributor, I used to have access to hundreds of industrial chemicals which I used at work and at home. SMS was something I turned to a lot for formulating cleaners. Works almost as well as trisodium phosphate without the pollution issues. That said, use it sparingly as it is highly alkaline. (Don't breath dust, wear gloves, etc.)Would have given 5 stars but the packaging could be better (a sturdy plastic wide mouth jug perhaps?).
