VERIFY THAT WHEREVER YOU PLAN ON USING THIS SAW IS CAPABLE OF SUPPLYING AT LEAST 20 AMPS OF POWER!!! Preferably this saw should be used on a 30 amp circuit. I tested the unit I received and it pulls approx. 8 to 10 amps when it is just running under no load. Under medium load it pulled over 19 amps at a power factor near 1.0 (9.3 to 9.5 observed @ 122VAC). If your location is wired for the much more common 15 amp circuit, this saw is NOT for you. There are more efficient options available. If your shop/garage can support it, it is just what it is intended for - a cheap option for a cut-off saw.

Watch out on the shipping . they even went as far as to put it in a new box to cover it up .
I believe in the quality of this chop saw .! It's very impressive .! But during shipping mine got busted and bent the leg on it ...! So I say shipping is a concern .!

I love this thing all I did was upgrade on the cutting disc to a better quality and it’s perfect for what I use it .

No bevel, doesn't cut straight, bad quality and misleading listing.
This saw is advertised as a double-bevel cut, but it can't even cut a single bevel. The title is blatantly misleading and factually incorrect. Furthermore, even with a straight, 90 degree cut, it can't even cut a straight line. I am returning this item and I advise you to save your money.
