Good suction. Purchased for pushing blended food through a tube while jaw was wired shut.To fill, I dipped the tip into the food and siphoned it up by pulling up on the plunger. Had no problems—good suction & no leaks. Others try to fill by pouring into the large open back end, thus needing a cap that seals shut. I didn’t try this, so can’t comment on it. But I don’t know why you’d want to do that because, for any brand, if the unit is full of liquid and you put the plunger on later, some liquid will shoot out.I think these were marketed at one-time-use. I tried to make them last longer. I’d say they were good for 3-5 uses each before the plunger developed a poor seal. For me, that was good performance!I would buy again!

I do a ton of Deepwater culture hydroponic growing. All sorts of vegetables, from tomatoes, to peppers to basil and even grapes. These have become a necessity when refilling 5 gallon buckets because I can make a gallon of concentrated nutrient solution and then measure out the appropriate amount for a 5 gallon reservoir. I end up needing 75ml of concentrate, and these syringes are perfect for that amount.

The syringes work well, but the few that I've used had a tendency of getting stuck during and after use.

These are hard to find in stores. I picked one up at a local farm store but the gradations are clear and nearly invisible. These are easy to read in black, however; they don't appear to be etched then rubbed with black ink so they may come off. Wish they weren't quite this disposable. Much, much cheaper to buy 8 at a time but the 2 these replaced were around for 20yrs. Stepped on them.

As others pointed out, unlike description, only one style comes with caps to cover tips. I use these to feed my very old, toothless Yorkie. They work well for that purpose. I puree her canned dog food, cut the tip off the make a bit larger opening, and feed her with this. I do not use the larger ones...too big for my hands. Are reusable, but used permanent marker to make a "fill to line" because black numbers and lines wash off. Very easy, mess free way to feed my pet. She likes it too.

Working perfect so far. Very Accurate. Nice industrial fluid dispenser. Hope they work with epoxy and / or two part silicone molding rubber, they should. Nice quality made item, sturdy to hold. Will buy again.

The information on the website says “ Large Plastic Catheter Tip Syringe with Caps”, but it doesn’t have a cap. It has a piece that looks like a cap on the end of the syringe, but it has a hole in it. The function of that piece is to reduce the size of the end of the syringe - most likely to allow you to easily fill smaller items.I bought these to use for making Essential Oil products and Soaps. The paper that comes with the Syringes says they are disposable, and not to use again. That doesn’t work for me. They are too expensive for a one time use. Then it says to put tape on markers on the syringe to make them last longer. That is a complete contradiction to saying they are one use only. You wouldn’t need to do that if you’re using it one time and disposing of it.I would not re-purchase these syringes and I am planning on sending them back.

We bought these for our aging mare that needs a gram of bute twice a day. We crush the tablet and mix it with applesauce. She won't take it if we put it in her feed so we use this syringe to shoot it into the back of her mouth. Works great.
