Doesn't Come Assembled!
I have mixed feelings about these. They actually worked perfectly for what I ordered them for & were very cute, but there were a few issues with them, & they were a hassle.1st- I don't recall reading anywhere that they don't come assembled. That may have been my fault. Idk. I did notice upon looking back at the pics that it does NOT show them on the sticks. I kind of feel like they expect you to deduce that they aren't assembled just by the pics showing them not on the sticks, but after browsing at a ton of other toppers, that is a detail that is easily missed, imo...It wouldn't have been a huge deal them not being assembled, except for I was in a time crunch, & the problems/hassle I ran into.2nd- The sticky things they send to assemble them with don't work that great. If you aren't going to be moving them around very much AT ALL they would be fine, but ANY movement & I feel like they'd fall off the stick. I had to use a little tape.3rd- Although they were the perfect size for what I needed them for (to put in glass jars w/ lights, for table decorations @ my daughter's baby shower), imo they would be a tad bit small for a cake topper. If you're looking for a larger than normal cupcake topper, these are for you. Just don't expect large cake toppers. Just FYI.4th- They weren't the sturdiest. Not super thin, but not great either. Especially fragile on the parts where it has fine cutouts.I bought them knowing that they weren't double sided, so I planned to paint or take a marker to the backside of them so our guests around the table weren't looking at the obvious white, back. I bought a gold sharpie & that backfired, bad! Just 1 coat of sharpie (which weirdly barely covered the white-it looked streaky) made them SO FLIMSY, that 2 of them almost broke & the parts w/ the very thin cutouts are hanging by a thread..So another FYI- don't try coloring the back w/ sharpie or marker! You get a lot of them for the $, though. So they are a good deal. The sticks are very long, not super short like cupcake toppers. They're basically as long as cake pop sticks. So that's a plus. They are really cute.Like I said, they are larger than normal cupcake toppers, but imo smaller than what you'd expect for a cake topper. I'd use them on a small cake. They have pros & cons. You just have to decide whether they're what you need & are looking for.I hope this helps.
