Perfect for what I intended, shoulder warm up for a torn rotator cuff. Did not come with instruction, but assembly was easy enough from looking at the picture. The digital counter turns on when you start exercising and shut off by itself after you stop. Even without instructions, I figured it out pretty quickly.

I bought this for my mother because she has problems with her knees. Its very easy to use and very light.
