... other reviews and I must say that I was amazed. This is the one to get
I looked at other reviews and I must say that I was amazed. This is the one to get! Very very heavy weight, easy to install by just screwing it on and turning and removing the key. When locked both the bottom half and top half spin. It would take a rocket scientist to remove it. Another review mentioned removing the key core but I tried for some time and you can not! This is amazing and I am ordering two more. I have them on my office building where street people have been using the water. Last, when you turn the handle to turn on the water after the lock is installed there is not even a drip of water leaking. IT WORKS!UPDATE: I ordered 2 more, so I have 3 total. The second 2 are keyed the same, so it appears if you order them at the same time, they will automatically key them the same, which is great, so just beware that if you want different keys for each fawcet lock, then best to let the seller know if you order them at the same time.

Prevent Water Theft...Even Neighborhood Kids!
Well, I am not too concerned about people stealing my water, quite frankly. The problem is this. I have neighborhood kids who walk through my unfenced backyard constantly. Like all kids, they sometimes get thirsty, and take a drink from my faucet. The problem is that they have left it on full blast twice, now, causing a huge mess, and a huge bill. These locks put an end to that. They are individually keyed, so, if you have different faucets you want to protect, you must label each of the two keys that come with the lock to identify them.I don't blame the kids too much. I drank from many a neighbors spigot when I was a child. I just wish that they would be responsible. But since I can't rely on their parenting, I can rely on these little locks. An alternative solution to the problem for the kids is to remove the handle... yet that would surely not deter determined water thieves.Highly recommended.

Great locks, but with a slight design flaw
These locks are a great deterrent against water theft/vandalism. However, I did find a small design flaw: These locks are essentially comprised of two pieces (the lock itself and a capping device). Once the lock/cap has been installed on the hose bib (and locked), the lock itself can be easily removed, simply by spinning the locking device, counter-clockwise several times. However, once the actual lock has been removed, the cap will remain in place, preventing water theft (which is a good thing). Simply store the lock device (and keys) in a safe place, somewhere in your home, in order to successfully remove the cap from the hose bib at a later date. Had I not discovered this fact, there's a strong chance a vandal could have easily removed the lock itself, causing me not to be able remove the cap from the hose-bib (and that would have been a real bummer).

Good heavy duty faucet lock
Heavy duty and easy to install, only complaint would be that it allows water to leak out of the faucet does get turned on

Perfect Lock Out!
This lock is exactly what our church needed. It worked so well, the men at the church could not figure how to take it off. Our water line is now secured, and we don't have to no longer worry about who is stealing our water. We highly recommend this device for anyone who cannot always keep their eyes on the outside faucet.

Excellent deterrent form those who use the water at our place of worship to bathe themselves. Our water bill shot up markedly last February and no one could figure out why until one of our worshipers showed up unannounced on a Friday morning to find a homeless woman using the unsecured spigot to bathe--in her birthday suit, no less! Since installing the lock, our water bills have returned to their usual amounts.
