It’s lightweight but offers great protection for your piece of mind.We’ve had this for about a year now and it still looks brand new even though it’s been tossed around, dropped, and traveled with us.It’s a nice snug fit with easy access to all the buttons and ports.I like the nice big carrying handle, great for kids.It can be propped up standing landscape on the foldout foam legs or flipped the other way so it lays flatter on the table. My child prefers having it more vertical. Only wished that it provided more tilt options and a vertical stand.It’s cheap and does the same job as more expensive options.

So I would love to give this five stars just for convenience.Shipping- on time.Feel- feels just like the cover that comes with the kids fire. However the legs in the back are a bit tough to pull out, especially for tiny fingers, so I understand why many parents are seeing the legs pull off easy. Perhaps an upgrade would be plastic legs instead of foamSeems durable.But the number one reason this product will never get more than 4 stars from me is the speaker holes. They out them in the wrong place. They out one set of speaker holes in the back so my kid keeps turning it up because "she can't hear it". But the rest of us can hear it fine from across the room. Drives us nuts!!!So plastic legs, and speaker holes toward the front of the tablet would make this an ideal case for kids

This thing is awesome. Holes are where they need to be so I’m not sure what the other reviews are referring to. It is a thick foam so my daughter can drop it all day and it won’t get hurt. Super easy to slide on. Love the handle and if she doesn’t want to watch my movie she can prob that baby with the kick stands and it is awesome. She will probably ruin it at some point, she is hard on her things.... but well worth the money to protect her kindle. Will buy more. My 12 year old also wants it for his.

My 2-year-old is a rascal. Honestly, he's the cutest thing, but he is always throwing things from the top of the stairs. I bought this case to cover his Kindle. It is so cute. He walks around holding the handle of it like a big boy. Plus, he has thrown it down the stairs (22 steps), and it holds up just fine. He has hurled this thing everywhere. When he does, I just look. I know there won't be any issue with the Kindle, and he's just going to pick it up and start playing again. Honestly, this was a perfect investment. Without it, I know the Kindle would be shattered by now.

I asked my 7 year old son how many stars out of 5 he gives this case and he said the highest :) so then I asked why and he said because it has the stands in the back and can use it on anything, it is soft (yet firm my add), and he loves the handle feature too. Mostly the feet stands in the back. Much better than the one Amazon gives free with their kids Kindle because of the standing feature. My son is picky at his young age and he loved it as much as I did. If I didn't already have a case for mine I'd buy another one for me lol :)

I know it says KIDS but far from a KID.... but I LOVE PURPLE.... Look, I drop everything all of the time .. smh... and with the comfort of the protection of this very sturdy case to protect my Fire HD 8 Tablet and my LOVE for PURPLE... this was the best combo for me!

Rugged, slightly foamy, evokes Speak & Spell (which I love). I honestly feel like my son's Kindle Fire has a fighting chance to survive inside of this case. The *only* improvement would be to get the legs to lock back in to the stored position with a bit less effort. It's possible that they'll store easier after repeated use. Don't let my note about the legs stop you from buying this case. It really is great.

This is by far the best case thus far. Our initial tablet malfunctioned early in but it also suffered some pretty bad toddler encounters. I just knew the screen would shatter but it’s held up. When we replaced the prior I invested in this case and let me just say it’s better for little hands. We have less drops and falls. I also think the rounded part providers an extra layer of protection. I also love the case itself doesn’t hold dirt.
