LED Floodlights, MEIKEE 15W Security Lights with Motion Sensor, 1500Lumen IP66 Waterproof PIR Flood Light, Outdoor Lights, 6500K Daylight White

People seem to get hung up on power and lumens output so inevitably end up over specifying their requirements... this little 12w Lamp is definitely bright enough for most applications unless you’re trying to light an entire field from a single light. For less than £13 if you mount them on your walls maybe 2.5m or so high even one might be enough to do a good sized garden. I’ve bought three of these now, only to cover the sides as well as the back of my house. I’ve got a fair sized garden and the one on the back is way bright enough! Seem robust enough, lovely little things compared to the old 500w halogen ones, and 1/40th of the running costs so you can have them on all the time if you want and won’t even notice your bill!Brilliant, definitely recommend.Only negative is that they seem to be pretty sealed, such that you need to use the attached wire flex rather than directly wiring in your own; easy work-around is to use a cheap waterproof junction connector to your own wire though. Easy fix.

I bought this to provide a bit of extra light on the yard In front of a double garage. There is some street lighting fairly nearby.First impressions on taking it out of the box were good. It’s nicely put together and the quality seems fine.I mounted it on the front gable wall of the garage just under 3m high, central between the two doors.Coupled it all up and waited for it to go dark... the light for a 12w unit is excellent, sensor a bit over sensitive for my liking, I can live with it though.Very happy with my purchase so far, I hope it lives up to expectations and doesn’t disappoint in the long term.

The downside to this Product is the Stingy 1.5 Meters of Cable. And as this is a Sealed UnitI had to Purchase another 4 meters of cable and a Waterproof Junction box at a further Cost of £9.99.So what started out as a Good buy at £12.99,ended up being expensive

Very lightweight and very easy to install as it has 1.5mtr cable pre-installed to prevent opening up terminal box,think it would be a good idea though if the light had various lengths of cable installed ie 2,3,4 Mtr. I was very impressed how bright the light is as it is only 12W and also this is the first light I have bought with toggle switches which makes it so easy to set up as opposed to the little things you have to turn and tweek which takes a bit of time to set up. Overall good product if it lasts a while.

Had second thoughts about buying it as it seemed cheap but on arrival i was pleasantly surprised. Sturdily built, small in size and a massive improvement on the bulky halogen light it replaced. Only 12w but lights up my whole drive. Easy to install and to change the settings. Will be buying another for the back of my house.Much cheaper to run than a halogen security light in both electricity and also that i wont have to change the bulb every few months.

but it does the job and illuminates quite a large area. Nice white light. Relatively easy to install although we had to lengthen the flex as it was too short to go through the garage wall to the plug. Unit is also a lot smaller than it looks but that wasn't a problem for us. Hope it lasts as long as our old one which gave up the ghost after 20 years!

I purchased this Meikee 12W security light, while the weather was fine and dry worked without any problems. The problem started once it rained with water getting into the sensor, not a lot but enough to stop the light working and not lighting until walking up to it, once getting to within a foot of it the light came on. So not water tight, light removed after only a few days of fitting.
