This was everything I NEEDED it to be. I permed my daughter's medium to long length hair. This tray saved my life. Halfway into putting the wave lotion onto the perm rods, they began to drip. This tray allowed for the solution to seamlessly drip into it and allow me to use the dripped solution that pooled into the tray. I planned on using 2 bottles of the perm solution anyways, but this tray allowed me not to have to use a third bottle. It caught all the liquid that dripped. It allowed my daughter's clothes to remain dry. (She did have a towel and hair dressing plastic cape on during the entire perm process) The tray stayed around her neck and on her shoulders. It has just enough fit that it remains close around the neck without hurting. Get this tray if you are considering perming anyone's hair. It is an absolute lifesaver.

What a savior! A family member got into a car accident and broke 2 vertebrae and her ankle. Shower was out of the question, but I was able to actually wash her hair sitting on a wheelchair using this item. I wrapped shower capes from front and from back, overlapping them so her cast and back brace would not get wet, then I wet her hair using a water spray filled with water mixed with shampoo, having the perm tray over a towel over her shoulder, then towel dried the hair to remove excess shampoo and water, then sprayed with clear water. The tray captured all of the liquid. Needless to say, her hair was cut short after the accident to remove all the tangled broken glass out of her hair. Thanks to this product she was able to get a real hair wash between the dry shampoos. I recommend this for this purpose.

Warped, crooked, too tight to fit around any neck but a child's
No way will this work the way it is claimed to do. It is warped, crooked, and too tight to fit around even a very slender adult's neck!

Is good material but it came a little smash and the neck line got bent.
