It’s such a beautiful ships wheel I almost hated to use it for my Halloween skeleton pirate display, but it’s perfect!! It’s very well crafted, high-quality, & beautifully finished for any display. I love it!

I wanted a ship's steering wheel as an accent to my US Navy-themed library. The price of this wheel was extremely competitive for a wheel in its size so I ordered it. I can only say positive things about this wheel!! It arrived quickly, was in perfect condition, and surprisingly solid. It isn't a cheap showpiece wheel that is made to hang on a wall but rather a real piece for a vessel. The center brass fitting, the wood dowel assembly, and the solid wood pieces were a great surprise. My entire family looked at it and commented on its weight and feel. It's a quality item. I added a simple painting hanger on the back and hung it above my desk. Best accent piece I bought for that room!

Don't get me wrong, this is not an heirloom item. But this is absolutely not a flimsy piece of garbage. It is a lot closer to the heirloom item end of the spectrum.For the money spent, it is phenomenal. The wood is solid and the metal center is honest-to-God heavy metal. This decorative nautical wheel has real heft to it.I bought this ship's wheel as a Halloween prop, but it's so cool and good-looking that I'm going to find some place to hang it on a wall.

The wheel seemed pretty well put together, with no loose pieces and a nice enough brass hub. The color and finish were as described and looked like the Amazon photos. I did put 3 coats of spar varnish on it, since I was placing it outside in the weather. If it holds up for a couple of years outside, I'll be happy.

The wheel looks great and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of material and overall construction. A nice addition to my room, exactly what I wanted. It's sturdy, well finished, very attractive. Great value.

For the price, this really is a beautiful wheel. I bought it for outdoor purposes for my kids custom playground, since the description mentioned “[could be used for]...deck...garden”, but after barely 4 months outdoors, it looks very old. I may have to paint it to save it. Wouldn’t recommend to keep this exposed to constant weather, but would recommend it as a good product for the money, especially for indoor use.

This wheel was just the perfect thing to hang in my dining room. We live near the beach and have a lot of nautical decorations. Love this wheel! Sturdy good construction.
