Got this to check pH in our new aquarium. It's easy to use and instructions explain how to recitfy problems with level. So far the reading has been good so haven't needed to use the solutions. Only negative I have is the size of the packets with solution in as although they fit within the case they are alittle large and need to be squished in. Overall happy with this. ☺️

I’ve had to start using a special solution in my bearded dragons water as he’s gone on a hunger strike. The vet gave me the solution and some PH test strips and told me to make sure the water stays at a certain level. I want to keen on the strips as every sample seemed to change. This little pen for the money is great, near instant results and proper accurate readings. Beats the strip any day and in the long run if he has to stay on this solution for a while it will actually save me money from the price the vets charge for the strips. Perfect. Love the fact it also came with the PH calibration packs so you can see for yourself right away that it’s 100% accurate.

This meter seemed to work after I followed the calibration procedure thought it was difficult to get it to 0 as the values kept jumping around. When I noticed that my orchids were not looking too well I tested the water I was using - the meter showed the same value to water and vinegar! Re-calibrating did not help.
