George Kovacs GK Lightrail P8003-1-084 Light Kit Brushed Nickel Etched Opal Glass

Some of the reviews were not that positive and I wish that I had listened to that...I dont know if it is the product or the seller or the shipment, but here is the list of issues I have:1) the instruction manual and label has all kinds of writing and marking on it (appears to be used)2) the rails are scratched and damaged and appear to have been used already3) the rails have different lengths4) one rail was already cut (top one as you can see from the marker on it5) the second/middle one has a piece on it that causes a short circuit on the rail6) one of the lights has the lamp legs in it, and the lamp (as you can see next to it) doesn’t have legs anymore7) the ceiling attachments one has a drywall plug and mounting screw, the other one does not8) the glass holder screws, 2 are missing (should be 9 as per guide) and 3 of the provided screws have missing plastic washers9) the transformer is broken, it doesn’t give off the 12 V AC (not shown on picture)10) the packaging of the installation material was a ziploc baggy from momma’s drawer (not shown on picture)11) there are 3 pieces of rail (I think the top and middle one were cut by someone already) but there is only 1 connection attachmentAll in all this is quite disappointing to receive a used, damaged and broken item for a lighting that is $300…Since this list of 11 items seems excessive I thought a picture would help to show that I have not been exaggerating.

Be forewarned about buying this product -- while attractive in appearance, I've bought two, and had the distributor send a replacement transformer and ALL THREE transformers were defective!!! I even hired an electrician to trouble shoot and check our my electrical system and re-install the light, and he checked the transformers, confirming that they were defective. So, I've installed and removed this light set three times and incurred the expense of an electrician, as well as the ceiling damage from the installed/removed light posts --- I'm so frustrated with defective products!!!

Also very bright. Recommend installation on dimmer. Can be overpowering with supplied bulbs depending on height of installation. We have the lights installed over a bar (over 6' ft) and almost blinding at that level

This light is beautiful and it was super easy to install....as long as you read the instructions!

Our installation turned out great! We love this light fixture in our kitchen. Installation was not easy; you should expect to spend a few hours on this project.

Just right over my kitchen island, though replacement parts are hard to get.

We only used 2 of the lights but works Great. Was easy to shorten the length of the pendent. Came with bulbs. Very bright!

The perfect finishing touch to our remodeled kitchen! Everyone that comes over loves it. Gives off good light for such small bulbs.
