Just what I needed for my new chain install - broke one pin in the first use though...

Tool works as described. Parts seem to be sturdy and well made. It would be easy to over crimp the rivets, so extra care must be taken. Grind off the rivet heads before pushing them out. I would buy the tool again.

Used this kit to install my 525 ek zzz chain...it does what it was built for.first time using this tool..helps you save money from lettin shops intall it for you when you can buy this kit and do it yourself.

This is a budget minded tool for the guy who will work on 1 or 2 bikes and not use it much but really appreciate it when its needed. Broke the second chain I used it on. the shear pin is not strong enough. was able to complete 2 chain swaps though.

I only have used this once and like it. I do not have a shop and use it for my atv, so I doubt if it will get much use in the future.
