Very Satisfied
As this was replacing an existing ice maker on our houseboat it was easy to install. It made ice in less than 60 minutes after we turned it on. This ice maker replaced a slightly larger unit and we are very happy with it. We do wish it came with a filter like most refrigerators do now and made clear rather than white ice.

Extremely unreliable icemaker
We have replaced our unit two times (once out of warranty, once in warranty)... And it just died a third time only a couple of months after a warranty replacement! I don't think this is designed for use on a boat, it is just priced as a marine icemaker. Super frustrating for an expensive appliance.

Teflon flakes in your ICE!
Teflon flaking off ice tray rack. Freon runs through tray so impossible to repair or replace by lay person. Make lots of ice with Teflon flakes - infrequent use on a boat after only 2 years.

Broke after only one year
Worked great until it suddenly began leaking freon. We are terribly disappointed. Not close to their few approved technicians so we have to junk it. It saddens me greatly that I am forced to throw away this after o ly one year. Not a built to last item
