PlayaPup Male Dog Reusable/Washable Belly Bands

This is a nice stretchy material that warms more comfortably around the dog' shoddy. I've tried cheaper ones, trying to save money, but the dog pays the price in discomfort. These are now the only kind I use with him. He is a "scentor." He lifts his leg whenever we go somewhere new, including indoors. It's embarrassing. I now keep these bands in my car for indoor visits. They work great.

I love the idea of this technology. You just add a feminine pad to this belly band and you should be in good shape. Not quite! The urine still spills out of the pad because the band does not snug the pad in. So, there is not a second guard that keeps the urine from spilling. It was frustrating because I could wrap the band just in time on my dog only to have to clean the pee on the floor anyway. So, this wrap should have some depth on the belly to hold the feminine pad, plus some absorbing material to avoid spill. This material does not absorb any drop of pee. So, I ordered another brand and I'm doing great with that. I didn't get a refund for this. I should have returned them, but now I know how to do that. When you don't return bad products, little by little you are throwing money away. Posting reviews is very important. Now, I really take my time to read reviews because they have come true even on four star products. I will write reviews more often to help consumers like me. Another huge problem, before I close, this product was really dangerous for my dogs. The band slides forward and very often the dog's penes would get out over the band and stuck, making the raw flesh be out of his prepuce and in the air until we realized he was in trouble. We would always realize sooner than later because our dogs are always close to us when we were at home, but can you imagine if this happened when we weren't home. The dog would be suffering for sure because there would be nobody to take it off. This thing is not safe for dogs. It's too narrow and slippery. Terrible product and not great, as far as washing it. They need to improve this product, urgently.

I have a ten pound rescue affenpinscher....very rare...I couldnt figure how such a rare,adorable dog ended up in a high kill shelter...after one year, ( he is two and a half) he is still not totally housetrained, thats why! I read volumes on the subject, and finally opted for several models of belly bands...this is by FAR the best. Ollie gets into his " pee jammas" as I call them, with no problem at all, and only rarely wets them.This little monkey faced dog is a love, and we are relaxed, and accept that he may always need his peejammas as a back up. i just reordered, and highly recommend...use with a kotex or poise.You will not regret this purchase, and it MAY cut down on your wine consumption!:)

I have a 7 pound chihuahua and I bought this for when we take him to my mother-in-law's house. He's usually very good and not in need of something like this, but there is a certain area rug at her house that he seems to think needs to be christened each time we visit which is completely mortifying. But I digress....I read the measurement guide and all of the reviews on this and was confident that he would need an x-small. However, it was way too tight and the thick piping along the edges rubbed against the inside of his hind legs while he walked because, somehow the band is nearly as wide as his whole abdomen. Needless to say, I will not be subjecting him to that kind of torture.I'm sure this works for other dogs, but not for my 7 pound chihuahua's build.

A LIFESAVER !!! They work!!!! My boy pugs were have pee offs in the house forever, when I was at work I was losing my mind. The first time they wore them they peed in them then never again!!! I made them wear for only a week and now they are good boys again!!! It corrected them without caging them. A win win.

I have a little 9 lb Maltese with TCC (Bladder Cancer). As he advances in his disease....he has become incontinent. Until the time he is ready to move on, it's about Comfort Care. I have tried so many different belly bands out there that leave when they are made with elastic band used to keep in place. The material used to make these bands is a stretchy almost like spandex or scuba gear.....very easy to wash. I just throw in the washer and air dry. I bought several so when one is being washed I can use a clean one. The best pad to use inside is a Poise pad (cut in half) to catch the urine when he leaks. My only suggestion would be a longer Velcro strip along the outside length of the band for achieving better snugness when taking in consideration the size of the pad one chooses inside your band.. I like the fact that this band leaves no red marks across his belly and there is typically no slippage of the band to expose penis for urination outside the band.Overall this is best one I've found out there.One other feature I like is that its a quick pull to release band when the dog is outside to do his business. Sometimes timing is everything.

Exceptional! Good quality and just as important stays on. I have 2 male chihuahuas who wear their "pants" all day while I'm at work. I have tried a lot of different belly bands. PlayaPup are hands down the best.

Finally, a great belly band! The medium fits my 16 pound Westie perfectly, whether using a thick or thin pad. They are soft and flexible for comfort. I now have three of this brand. I bought and returned several other brands before finding these. Some were too stiff against the hind legs. others too wide, or just not sized as described. While my dog is 14" where they indicate to measure, the center of the band is forward of that waistline. So you might want to add about 2" to your dog's waist for the sizing chart.

These are my favorite belly bands ever! Completely stretchy material so they don't just slide right off my dog's butt. My only complaint...Size small is too tight and size medium is too loose. There's a big difference between the sizes. Wish the seller would make something in between. I contacted them but they do not. Had to return the medium, which was hassle-free. Gave the small to my mom for her teeny chihuahua.
