Pleasantly surprised.
I tie a lot of flies...personally and commercially. I have been buying cuticle type scissors for years to trim small files as close as I can. I tried these for the heck of it, not expecting it to be a fine trimmer. Turns out I was wrong. And I love large finger/thumb holes. I can now tie a fly without laying my scissors down.

Exquisite!
These were recommended to me by a friend for artwork. They are incredibly sharp and a true precision tool. So glad I bit!

Brand new?
I think these scissors were used. They did not come in the original packaging but the give away was the fingerprints all over them. I felt it obvious that someone had handled, perhaps used them. For this reason, I am giving them a 2 star.

OMG Sharp!
While I use a smaller size pair on my fly tying bench and love them, these I bought to use a beard trimming scissors! They are the best beard scissors I've ever used! Sharp as it gets, large finger holes, adjustable tension, built to cut hair, great quality, what more can you ask for????? Arekay

Used Product
Just received my package and clearly the scissors were used and taped back up. Very disappointing.

Sharp edge, and sharp pointy tip. Only comes with a loose plastic tube as tip cover.
These scissors are very sharp, and have a pointy tip that allows for precise use. They seem well built and I like that you can adjust the tension easily with the knob on the side. The loops are wide enough that they can be used comfortably even by someone with large hands. The only negative with this product is that it only comes with a loose piece of plastic tubing as a tip protector (see photo). It's the kind you'd see fitted to pumps for an aquarium (I think) and doesn't fit very well. It's not really adequate as a point protector for such a sharp instrument, and you'd definitely want to cover the tip of these scissors when not in use. Without anything to cover the tip you could easily hurt yourself, and I'm not confident that this piece of tubing will stay in place securely.
