Moving Blankets 12 Economy 72x80-inches 43 lbs per Dozen Professional Quilted Moving Blankets

I just purchased these blankets after reading the reviews online for an upcoming move. I was impressed at how quickly the seller processed my order and the blankets arrived at my door. They arrived well packed. I have to store all of my furniture in a storage unit until my house is available so I needed a product to protect my belongings. The blankets have a nice weight to them. Being a little OCD I decided to wash one. It washed well on gentle cycle so I washed a few more just for the few that will be wrapped around my chair. The stitches stayed in place and strong through washing and will be useful as a blanket for a picnic in the park. They don't have a strong smell that would make you need to wash them as I will use the rest to cover my wood furniture just the way they are.

You can't argue the price for what you get here they are nice however I thought they were the thick commercial moving pads they are not there are about half the thickness and in my move across country patting stuff around my car that was in an enclosed trailer is still allowed items to rub on my car. Don't know if that's my fault and I should have strep the car suspension down versus just the tires but it is what it is. Work great for all other furniture that did not rub against the car so I would say I got the job done. Great purchase was delivered quickly

Great for price. I was hoping a little more durable. While quilted and nicely padded the fabric is very thin and easily torn. These would be great moving blankets but don't think they would hold up for more than a few moves. Not durable quality. I'm using them for an outdoor project (my neighbor used moving blankets that lasted years). Was hoping these would last years. Now I'm hoping they will last this winter.Update: One year later pulled them out of garage from summer storage, and the blue outer fabric is disintegrating. it's like blue powder flakes and dust everywhere. Big mess, throwing these away.

They worked pretty well for their intended purpose. Most of our furniture made it through the cross country trek in a pod unscathed. One book case was damaged because something rubbed through the blanket. If your belongings are going on a long trip, I would recommend a thicker (heavier) set of a dozen or just double up on them. Pretty pleased overall, and I'm in the process of washing them all to resell on craigslist.

i recently moved cross-country and decided to use moving "pods" instead of renting a moving van and driving my stuff myself. One down side to this manner of moving is that the company renting the pods does not rent blankets with them. These blankets were the cheapest quilted fabric blankets I could find anywhere online. They arrived within a few days via UPS with no extra shipping charge. When I opened the package, I was very happy to find that these blankets are of equal or much better quality than moving blankets I have rented in the past, and they are bigger (and clean since they are brand new).

I rated them a 5 because they were exactly as described "an economic moving blanket". I think they are equivalent to the ones used by moving companies & that comes from observations of four moves around this country before I retired. I'm currently using several to protect items in storage so realtor can stage the house & they work fine. They have tightly stitched seams around the edges & lots of cross stitching (quilting). They arrived on time, well packaged, clean & soft... I think I will have these around for years to come.

Good quality pad and decent size. What I didn't notice before purchase was that they were the same color on both sides - blue/blue. I always like to keep the same side of the pad toward the furniture but no way to tell on repeated uses which side was toward the furniture last time. Overall pleased with the pads.

While there was a mixup in the shipping date, and the packaging was the most unprofessional packaging I've ever received, with two ends of boxes taped together in a messy glob, the blankets were just fine. There is a bit of a smell to them, but it dissipates after you open them up.
