Yes, by design. The battery will continue to trickle charge with whatever remaining power is not being used by your pedals. Have fun!

Q: Will the volto support a line 6 wireless g6 for 3 hours? i've got a few other pedals and this died on my first show about halfway through. first time

Wireless units are pretty demanding, as they are always on. I do not have this particular unit here to test, but based upon other wireless device feedback, a fully charged Volto 3 (over night charging, 8+ hours) will perform as needed. This depends of the other devices also powered, of course. If you would like to contact us via the help line we would be happy to deep dive with you.

Q: If i turn my amp on, or plug into a pa, and then turn on the volto, there's a very loud electrical pop! is there any way to fix this?

This is likely from a pedal in the chain powering up while plugged into a live amp. A good rule of thumb for powering up any rig, with any power supply, is to turn your amp on last. This prevents pops from gear earlier in the chain (before the amp, PA, etc) when they power up. The Volto itself is not in the audio chain. Hope this helps. This is normal. There is a new program in Volto 3 called Battery Health Management. This is likely what you are experiencing. The third light will blink when the battery health program is running, even if the unit is fully charged. For example, if you were to leave your Volto plugged in for many days, you would see the unit move in and out of three bars lit and then the third bar blinking again, back and forth. To determine if your Volto is fully charged in a situation like you describe above, simply unplug the unit from the USB port and turn it on. You will likely see three bars fully lit indicating max charge. Hope this helps!
