Nice product, mine just did not work.
Did not work how the instructions said it would and would not work with any remote I tried. Either a faulty batch or whole lot. Did a lot of research before purchasing, so very surprised as to why it did not function how it says it does. Fits my FireTV remote great, but useless when it does not work. Free postage return and awaiting refund once they receive the product back. No problem with seller, and very quick delivery.

Better than expected
Have to say, wasn't expecting much from this as other universal remotes can be anything up to and including north of £100, however, this really does a great job and has resulted in me being able to retire 3 of my 5 remotes! (well, semi-retire perhaps, but I'll get to that). The unit clips onto the back of your firestick remote by way of replacing the battery cover, which is neat. It took about 5 mins to figure out how to 'train' it, the instructions are poorly translated but it's not rocket science, and a bit of trial and error did the job. Now, here's the downside:The main issue is that there are really only 2 'free' trainable buttons. There are 6 in total, and volume up/down, channel up/down, power on/off and the source button are probably essential for you to train, you then just have button 'A' and button 'B' to play with. For me, I need to use them to turn on my soundbar (A) and cycle through its inputs (B), but I have a fairly specific (and annoying) configuration that needs me to do this to resolve an audio syncing problem. No need to bore you with that, suffice to say this isn't going to be able to replace the complexity of your sky/virgin remote for example, but is potentially useful if you need a couple of extra buttons to do away with one or more remotes.NOTE: If you have the latest gen firestick with the remote that includes power and volume controls this is potentially even more useful as you can train those buttons on this remote to do something else!

Sleek Fire 2in1 Remote
Great item, easy to install, hassle free, I have ressurected an old tv this remote attachment was the last piece of the jigsaw. It fits really nicely to the amazon fire tv stick remote.

Not Universal Unfortunately
I ordered the first one and found that it would not replicate (or even recognise) my Sony remote control. The replacement arrived and also wouldn't work with the Sony remote.I unfortunately don't have another TV remote to test with (my Samsung actually uses bluetooth).I did ask Amazon for details of where I could get support to check this out but they were unable to give me details, nor have I been able to find anything useful.Should I be able to get any sort of support I would happily amend my review accordingly.

Can't be programmed for some functions and does not fit the new Alexa remote (vol buttons)
If everything aligned, this would be a need product. However, for me, it was not.Firstly it does not fit the new Alexa Fire remote - the one with the power and volume buttons. Whilst this controller is physically the same shape as the older one without those buttons, the battery compartment and cover on the new one is completely different. Since this 'add on' controller actually replaces the battery cover of the Alexa remote, this makes it incompatible with the current Alexa remote.Secondly, it would not allow me to program the buttons for some of the functions I wanted. Power on/off, for example, worked fine, volume up/down for my 5.1 system just would not be recognised in learning mode. Clearly it has some constraints on the types of IR signal it can reproduce. For those with older remotes (gen 2 but without the volume and power buttons) it did clip on very nicely. But only with that unit (which was not where I wanted to use it).Shame, could have been really good.

Point remotes head to head to pair.
Excellent idea, means one less remote on coffee table.
