Double Layer Kickstand Hard Hybrid Gel Case Cover for T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 P769 (Purple)

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this case!!Similar to the Otterbox concept, this case includes the hard snap case (with a slot to easily open/remove without using a tool) and the heavy silicon wrap. Case design is attractive and practical.Also, if you are crafty (and very careful) you can add a place to hang your lanyard which will not interfere with the case function/protection or damage your phone. At the bottom are of the case there are 2 separate holes for the USB port and microphone. On the bottom part of the hard case (goes on the back of the phone) I took my Dremel and made a small notch across the inside of the piece between the gap for the USB port and microphone. I threaded the lanyard loop through the holes at the bottom of the silicon and then around itself (to latch it on) but before pulling it tight I slipped the bottom of the hard case into the lanyard loop, letting the strings sit in the small groove. I then inserted my phone, snapped the top piece on, pulled the silicon securely around it and pulled the lanyard taught. Since the strings sit in a groove they do not place pressure on the phone and are not prone to slipping between the 2 pieces of the hard card case (and potentially ripping out through the silicon).I will furnish pictures if requested. ;o)Update (03/01/14)I recently found a small snap on case that I love (because it is purple and covered in fleur-di-lis) and found I could still use the black silicon cover over my new case! It slips over securely and all the buttons function!

I purchased this case after dropping my phone several times while it was in the expensive case I bought at my provider's store. The first time I dropped my phone in the old case, it split into two pieces and the corners cracked off and broke. When I found this case on Amazon, I couldn't believe the price and so was skeptical. It seems too good to be true, but it isn't! The case is in two layers - a hard plastic layer on the inside with a rugged, rubbery covering on the outside. One of my favorite features is that the front of the case extends beyond the face of the phone, offering great protection to the screen. Also very important to me was the ability to continue to take high-quality pictures. The case does not affect the camera at all - something that I read consistently in reviews for similar cases. Although I didn't think I cared about the kickstand, I think's it's really cool and handy to have if I want to watch a video. As stated in other reviews, this case does add a significant amount of bulk to the phone, but I think this is a plus. The phone is protected all around, so the extra thickness is worth it. This case also comes in a variety of accent colors if purple isn't your thing. The shipping cost was reasonable and the case arrived within a week.

Used it all the time was a saver

I saw a similar phone case at the outlets for twenty dollars. I am a college student living on a budget and I can't afford to pay so much money for a phone case that doesn't even look all that great, let alone half the phone cases are only made for mainstream phones such as iPhone and Samsung Galaxies. I just got the phone case today in the mail and so far, I'm confident that if I drop my phone it will not break. The case has a inner layer made out of a durable plastic that fits the phone perfectly. The second layer is just as durable but serves a durable shock absorber and protector if the case is dropped, especially on concrete. What I like most about this case is that it has a built in kickstand so I can enjoy YouTube on the go without having to hold my phone. The color suits my phones set theme and overall I'm really happy with this case. Maybe in the future I will buy another one, I have purple now so maybe a blue or yellow in the future. I don't think I'll be buying a phone or case anytime soon thanks to this perfectly priced case. Who ever made this, I thank you very much.

Works perfectly to protect my phone. I've had this case since Sept2013 and now its Jan2014 even now when I take off my case my phone still looks brand new! I drop my phone a lot and the case has did wonders to protect it with the case on it doesn't phase my phone one bit even if I drop it on tile or concrete. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is cuz if you take pictures in a dark room using the flash with it on sometimes it tints the picture the color of the case so some of my pics come out with a purple haze. But other than that its perfect ecspecially for the price!! I would def recommend this product.

I have had this case for quite a while now. Bought it last summer, when my husband bought me my new phone. My old phone was beat to crap as it didn't have a case i liked for it. I purchased this case to help protect my phone and it has worked wonders. My friend jokes that my phone looks like monster with this case on it, and often jokes that if she were to chuck it across the room the phone would survive. Though I would never allow her to do so. But its perfect for what i need, I have a pocket in my purse that works for the larger size it is. If you don't want anything bulky this is not the case for you. But if you often drop your phone and need something to protect it, it is perfect!

I bought this case for my nine-year-old daughter, this is her first phone. The case is bulky for me personally but with her small hands I think this is great. She can hang on to it, everything lines up just right it's adorable and durable. This is the third case I have bought from this company and they do not disappoint. I give it 3 stars because it did not come with the clear screen protector. That's no biggie though.
